Is Donald Trump Pulling A Nigerian 419 Scam?
James Altucher ^ | July 20, 2015 | James Altucher

I'm sort of breaking my promise here. No news. Why no news? Because the news you read is almost always by uninformed reporters and is totally irrelevant in 99.999% of the cases.

Example: Greece has not paid a single debt since Rome took over in 146 BC. And yet, everyone keeps asking me about Greece.

News flash: They will borrow more money, and AGAIN they will not pay their debts. Nor should they.

Greece is a subsidized beach resort, healthy food, etc but they aren't a real country - (sorry in advance to anyone offended by this) and then in three years, for less than the cash Google has in the bank, the entire world will figure out another way to bail them out.

That's all you ever need to know about Greece. By the way, when I was living in Astoria, New York (all Greeks) I learned the rules to the three ways they play backgammon there.

I found this to be an entertaining article. The truth is, Trump can do a lot damage to the GOP elitist....and maybe he's running interference for Ted Cruz.

“The truth is, Trump can do a lot damage to the GOP elitist....and maybe he’s running interference for Ted Cruz.”

Whether it’s his plan or not, he’s doing exactly that.

I admit I skimmed the article. But it seems that the writer looked at the presidential race, ignored Hillary's history, and ignored Bill and Hillary's speech scams, and ignored the ludicrous money-laundering of the Clinton Foundation -- the writer just leap-frogged over all of that -- and concluded that Donald Trump (the guy with a $10B net worth) is just a con artist out to make a fast buck.

Really? Is that what we're going to believe??

A bunker buster does a lot more than twice the damage if it is zeroed in on a spot that has been hit by a previous bunker buster.

He could be the best bought and paid for democrat plant we have ever seen or loves America and wants to make it great again or just batshit crazy and thinks he can win. Time will tell.

Ah all of you short time thinkers you! Trump is trying to bring together the idiotic politics of the Republican Party that continues to try to become Democratic Light! He may not realize this, don’t care, he is doing God’s work!

So, if anything Trump is saying about political reality is wrong, please speak up!

Have you been waiting for years for a Republican that states the problems and ignores the media? Well, you have it now and you are complaining about him! Let the Republican (or so called - they are changing before eyes) that opposes him show himself!!

Donald has set the agenda for Cruz/Walker.
No doubt they’ll smooth out some of the rhetoric...

That’s my call at this point and we’re more than a year from the main endeavor.

So-so conservatives think some kind of ameba crawled into Donald Trump’s ear, apparently.

I think this is getting fun, especially based on how uncorked the Des Moines Register got on Sunday. Trump is right; the Register is among the top five liberal newspapers in America.

It should be remembered that the Register’s “Editorial Board” set a trap for Joni Ernst and she was savvy enough to duck it.

I’m also very skeptical.

I think he’s likely to drop out and endorse Bush.

I hope I am wrong.

I’m thinking we are going to need an exit strategy from the Donald, simply because his misogyny is too convenient as a foil for the “woman’s studies” vibe Hillary is doing.

I hate PC, with a passion, and Trump is very non-PC.

Hopefully we have a couple of candidates, Cruz is certainly one, possibly Perry, probably Carson, hopefully somebody who has administrative skills, who can make it to the debate and make it through the debate.

Unless I am much mistaken, and wouldn’t it be great if I were, Trump is going to be killed on specifics. We all want to hear what we want to hear, but we also aren’t as stupid as the elites think we are.

Here’s hoping Trump takes out the conventional warm-cup-of-spit Jeb!, Gramnesty, and Rubio types we all know Hillary is going to beat anyway.

True!! It is amazing to see all these people come out of the woodwork with all these theories about what Trump is up to. I would suggest to them that he is very serious and he means what he says he means.

I have to wonder...he’s run before..only to dropnout. I never for a moment think he wants the whole job. I’m also wondering about his huge lead in the polls...doesn’t seem possible. Is it just to get him on stage at the Fox debates? And if he does, does he help or pollute the entire forum. While I agree, even applaud some of his points, I get the distinct feeling that we’re getting played.

I don’t think Trump or Cruz will go anywhere and if it boils down to Walker versus Bush then Walker will likely win and will have a decent chance of winning. If Bush is nominated I predict another 4M GOP voters will not show up and Hillary will appoint replacements for Thomas or Scalia, etc. Just my guess though, your mileage may vary.

Before Trump came along I assumed Hillary had it in the bag because the Republicans were going to screw it all up. They have done nothing since we won the house and senate. There is no reason to vote for Republicans. They are democrats lite. That being the case I see no downside to voting for Trump.
