In August, the FBI’s counterterrorism division published a report warning law enforcement across the country of a new threat. It called the threat “Black Identity Extremism.” In reality, there is no “Black Identity Extremist” movement, at least not one that goes by that name. It appears to be an invented label, Foreign Policy reported. The publication revealed the existence of the counterterrorism memo Friday and briefly posted the actual document on its website before removing it. According to the FBI, “it is very likely some BIEs are influenced by a mix of anti-authoritarian, Moorish sovereign citizen ideology, and BIE ideology.”

The Oregon school shootings have a key common thread with other school shootings - the seeking out and murder of Christians. He made them identify themselves by religion and when he found a Christian, he said "you will meet God in a minute" and killed them. Two key elements in some of these shootings: Satanists shooting Christians and the use of a gun. Which leads Obama to denounce the guns and everyone ignores the hatred of Christians growing in this society of humanism which inspired this man of hate, to murder Christians.

Thirty years from now, historians will mark the assassination of America’s Ambassador to Libya on September 11, 2012 as a more important event than the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. On “9/11,” the United States’ self-appointed role to provide relative peace in the Western World as the only military super-power was challenged for the first time since the collapse of the Soviet Union in the mid-1980s.

Have pro-Israel liberals—at least some of the intelligent ones—finally had enough of President Obama's incompetence and dithering with respect to Israel and the Middle East? Apparently. First, there was the extraordinary column by well-known journalist Ari Shavit, a man of the left, in Israel's newspaper of the left, Haaretz, last Thursday. Here are the highlights (but by all means read the whole thing here):

Earlier this week the Pew Research Center’s Global Attitudes Project released a major report entitled ‘European Unity on the Rocks’. Its survey, involving more than 9,000 respondents across eight European Union nations as well as the United States, is the stuff of nightmares for EU officials desperately trying to keep the European project together against the backdrop of the biggest economic crisis in Europe since the 1930s. In the words of the report’s authors the European project “is a major casualty of the ongoing sovereign debt crisis,” with deep-seated disillusionment with the European single currency and the broader process of...
