    SEIU Loses Historic Case

SEIU Member Noujaim wins writ of mandate allowing her to get access to SEIU financial records.Judge Lloyd Connelly stated that Ms. Noujaim will get access to the SEIU records allowing her to write down all information for publishing. Although she is excluded from copying the documents, she may write the information dowm. What is excluded are the following:

Employee confidential information such as: -addresses -phone numbers -social security number's

In what would be defined as courtroom bombshells, the courtroom audience were high fiving outside in favor of Ms. Noujaim. While SEIU attorneys looked as if they were in shock,SEIU rank and file members were protesting the leadership in SEIU. Ms. Noujaim states she has worked hard to fight for the documents against SEIU.

SEIU is an organization that has some members have defined as corrupt and allegedly fraudelent. Mary Kay Henry is the SEIU President and many are calling for her to step down as SEIU International President. Her term will expire this year.

The 12th annual Civil War Experience starts Friday at Gibson Ranch Road and is expected to give families a living history day. Organizers said more than 10,000 people are slated to come out through Sunday. Photos From The Field: Civil War Experience Today, about 2,000 school children who have been learning about the Civil War will get to see first-hand what soldiers and nurses went through 150 years ago. The Civil War had the largest loss of human life. More than 1 million people were killed from 1861 to 1865.

Hundreds of re-enactors from all over the country are camped out at Gibson Ranch, tackling similar living conditions that troops experienced during war. Organizers said the three-day event will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, which helped eliminate slavery and preserved the Union. The event gets underway at 9 a.m. Admission is $7 per person for ages 10 and older. The location is Gibson Ranch Regional Park, 8556 Gibson Ranch Road, in Elverta.
