  • Illegal Immigrants Demand Representation at White House Meetings

    The Washington Times ^ | Monday, July 28, 2014 | Stephen Dinan
Illegal immigrants picketed the White House Monday afternoon, calling on fellow immigrant-rights advocacy groups to refuse to meet with the Obama administration until President Obama specifically includes illegal immigrants in any future meetings. “We are among the millions of people who will either benefit or be harmed by the decisions the President makes, and we are here to represent ourselves in any future negotiations,” said Rosi Carrasco, one of organizers, in a statement announcing the action. Billing themselves “undocumented immigrant leaders,” the organizers said they will erect a picket line to symbolize their demand.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL (WFLA) - When soldier Michael Sharkey was deployed to Afghanistan two years ago, he asked a friend to watch over his New Port Richey house. Sharkey and his wife are now living in Hawaii where he is currently stationed. They plan to move back into their New Port Richey home someday. But, right now they are fighting to get their house back. They say strangers broke in, changed the locks, moved in and they refuse to leave. "I want the people out," said Sharkey. "They're criminals living in my house." Sharkey was shocked to find out...
  • Feds seized nearly 1,500 guns in raid

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A federal search warrant affidavit outlines the massive raid that seized nearly 1,500 firearms from the home and business of an Albuquerque man and why the feds were after him. Last week rifles lined the lawn of a northeast Albuquerque home that belonged to Robert Adams. Homeland Security Investigations was also busy loading hundreds of handguns into boxes. It took federal agents days to log every weapon seized into evidence. Four search warrants filed Thursday show the HSI investigators seized nearly 900 firearms from Adams' home. There were 548 handguns and 317 rifles listed in the warrant...
  • Greece's debt woes have Merkel pleading for patience

The decline of London, Berlin and Europe-wide stock indices by at least two per cent each on Monday morning, along with the fall of the euro to a 10-year low against the yen and a seven-month trough against the U.S. dollar, came as no surprise to Europeans who watched the battle between Berlin and Athens over the Greek debt crisis go ballistic over the weekend. Greece, pushed to the wall by a sequence of German-led bailouts that have done little more than pile on more debt, announced on Monday that it is nearly out of cash. Deputy Finance Minister Filippos...
  • Cops Confiscate Lakewood Lady’s Arsenal; Motive Pending

Francesca Rice no longer serves in her country’s armed forces, but she brought a piece of the action back home with her. It seems the Lakewood vet had stockpiled her Edgewater Towers condo with a home arsenal including handguns, shotguns, a sniper rifle — plus a Thompson sub-machine gun, just in case the pizza guy got fresh. Her cache somehow caught the attention of Lakewood Police, who paid a visit last September. When they found Rice wasn’t home, they asked an obliging employee of the complex to open up the apartment without her consent. Once inside, they raided the gun...
  • Congress to decide whether Super Congress could impose gun control

Gun owner registration … bans on semi-automatic firearms … adoption of a UN gun control treaty -- all of these issues could very well be decided over the next 24 hours. Both houses of Congress will be voting on a debt ceiling bill that establishes a legislative committee with TREMENDOUS powers. Fox News is calling this committee a SUPER CONGRESS, because its legislative proposals (which could include gun control provisions) CANNOT be filibustered or amended in the Senate or House. To understand what a huge deal this is, consider that House Speaker John Boehner is able to keep a mountain...
  • Woman Charged After Snatching Infant From Stroller, Slamming Him Into Truck

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Police say a woman has been charged with aggravated assault after grabbing a 4-month-old baby from his stroller and slamming him into a metal pole in front of his mother and aunt. Natasha Hubbard, 36, was arrested July 21 after attacking the infant in the Toy District, near Skid Row. Police say Adriana Miranda was pushing her infant son, Alexander, who was belted into a stroller with her sister walking nearby. KNX 1070′s John Brooks reports. Without warning, Hubbard unbelted the boy from the stroller and grabbed him by the leg. Witnesses told police she swung...

  • The Bill of No Rights

    03/20/2010 10:02:47 AM PDT · by ronnyquest · 3 replies · 174+ views
As seen in "Rights, Responsibilities, and Communitarianism," the existence of a right implies a duty in others. The opposite of a duty is liberty, which implies no right in others. The identification of things for which there are no rights is thus an additional means of securing Liberty. The following is a list of no rights (or "non rights") that has been circulating on the Internet. It is sometimes said to have been written by State Representative Mitchell Kaye from Cobb County, Georgia. Now I am informed that it was really written and copyrighted by an active Libertarian from Mississippi,...

  • Why Are We Arguing?

I've noticed here and elsewhere that many people agree with one another and share nearly identical viewpoints, but state it slightly differently. And they argue with one another. Have you noticed that? Person A states X and Person B states X again in slightly different words, call it Xa if you like, but now it's his idea and Person A is wrong. I'm not sure if that's worse or if it's worse when Person A argues that Person B is wrong. I'm on a mailing list where this just occured and I thought it might be fun to share this...

  • Obama's IQ and Biden

I'd never really paid much attention to him before being selected as Obama's vice president. Since then, even the MSM has called him for making idiotic statements. Joe Biden says a lot of really stupid things in public. Is Biden really that stupid or is he playing the role of the "idiot white guy sidekick" in order to legitimize the claims that Obama's IQ is "off the charts?" I mean, the Chairman can't even form a coherent sentence without a tele-prompter. So, is Biden just there to make Obama look less the fool?

Have a look at DoD Directive 1404.10: http://www.dtic.mil/whs/directives/corres/pdf/140410p.pdf Is this where Chairman Obama's mysterious 600,000 new jobs will be created? Does this remind anyone else of Germany in the first half of the 20th Century? Are we going to see brown shirts and black armbands in the near future?

While I listen to Sirius Patriot all day, my co-workers listen to...other things, among them, the Michael Baisden Show. Today, he made the comment regarding Barack Obama that, "White people just don't get it yet." They turned it down after that and, apparently, he went on to make comments about how we don't respect their president, etc. Did anyone actually catch the rest of what was said? I explained to my co-workers that we do, in fact, understand. All too well, in fact. My co-workers did not understand what I meant.

Mike Church said on the show today to a caller that Hannity and Levin don't like him. How can this be? Does anyone know the fundamental disagreement?
