I don't support Gore either. But I didn't vote for, nor would I support George Bush. In less than a year he has set the foundation for having more freedom taken from us than Clinton did in all his eight years. And remember those computers everyone was hollering about Clinton giving away? Bush just did it. So much for a less dangerous president...less evil, whatever. But that isn't what this post was about. However, in order to keep family members from "inheriting" political office, it would take a constitutional amendment. How can we holler "Get him out of office" and then feel good about electing his son? sigh...
I was saying no to the government having buying privileges to own and DEprivatize any privately owned industry or business. I don't like the idea that the government can extort the privilege to buy stock in a company (ESPECIALLY one that is a failing business anyway) with MY tax dollars...and get all the privileges of control that goes along with it, meaning control of my privilege to fly.
If the government decided they should own all businesses, or a portion of them, we would be the ultimate slave society. We would no longer be working for a company, but a government. We would be forced to give our sweat to supporting policies we dont agree with or want anything to do with.
