I have considered in terms of the Republicans winning it all in 2024, it might be more likely if the Dems have another 2 years of control and do a poor job.
I have a general theory that there are a portion of voters who vote Republican for certain reasons - namely the economy. I think other things that play a role are secure borders, foreign policy, and the Second Amendment.
Those people tolerated the GOP’s stance on abortion because it simply didn’t matter to them or affect them. Yeah, a state might have passed some restrictions here or there, but nothing much really happened.
Then Roe v Wade was overturned. The media has exploited the various hard cases which account for less than 5% of abortions. Although, I really don’t know that it’s just the hard cases. I think there is a chunk of the Republican party that supports abortion. They want it legal on demand.
Perhaps it’s a libertarian perspective or perhaps it’s the fact that they want that option for themselves/their family. Those people are now faced with a dilemma with Roe being overturned and restrictions being put into place in some states. Do I think many of them will state vote Republican? I do, but depending on how important the issue, a minority may not. This was a perfect opportunity for those Republicans who will stay Republican because they could still vote in the Republican primary and then vote to keep abortion. It was a win win.

Yeah, I saw them up there. They took credit for Trump’s deal. He campaigned on it and fought for it, and they didn’t support him. They accused him of being unkind to our allies and supported NAFTA continuing. Now they are up there acting like it is their deal. Disgusting.
Trump hired a guy who didn’t agree with him on policy with another predictable end result. He’s one in a long line. All he had to do was hire people who aligned with his platform and so much trouble he has had could have been avoided.
Not many considering the population of this country, and I wonder how many people who watched it were undecided voters. I imagine a lot of people who watched it were hardcore Dems or hardcore conservatives who already have their minds made up.
Always wondered about that with folks like Hannity, Limbaugh, and other prominent conservatives. I would never tamper with the food of anyone even if I detested them, but I think there could definitely be people willing to.
I clicked on the article when I read your post as I presumed he did. I see he didn’t. The left is celebrating this on social media. They won’t like Eric more because he didn’t. Charges would be pressed if it was a Dem President’s son for sure. This person will still hate the Trump’s just as much and will think it’s okay. Conservatives don’t play to win.

No war over a drone. If they shot down a plane full of U.S. citizens, I’d say it’s warranted, but not a drone. Send a message through nonviolent means.
I thought he said recently he didn’t support it, but yeah, I don’t trust him when the time comes. Romney is the type that would want to impeach him and then run himself.
