Normally, I despise television commercials. The increased frequency, decreased quality, and repetition of advertisements, combined with cutting and editing of programming to fit them in, is makes television more unwatchable. Under normal circumstances, I channel surf during commercial interruptions. The one exception is the Super Bowl. The broadcast features commercials never seen before and in most cases hopefully never seen again. The commercials in the Super Bowl XL broadcast were mostly lame.
