I hate to post this but it seems to be happening on a regular basis. I can go into FR and scroll down what seems to be a half page and it goes no further. My preferences are set to 50/50. If I log out, I can get the full page but, it seems odd. I am logged in, except when I am not. My sister is not in the shower. There are no moose around here. My bieber is fine. and so on Has anyone else been experiencing this issue? Any suggestions? I realize I can just continue on...
  • Prayers for a Friend of Mine

I am here to ask for prayers for a friend of mine. They lost their little boy this morning. He has had heart issues and other medical problems since birth. He had to have open heart surgery and made it through. However, there were complications and he passed away. They lost a newborn many years ago. They have a daughter in her teens who was very close to her little brother. My friend and her husband are very active in their church and follow the Word and have strong faith. They know Michael is with the Lord and is healthy...
  • VANITY: Looking for articles discussing the way the VA is helping remove Vet's 2nd Amendment Rights

    09/10/2016 10:36:25 AM PDT · by ozaukeemom · 24 replies
I was discussing this with my husband this morning. I knew FR is the place to find the information we are seeking. My husband was at the VA the other day for an appointment. He was told to go meet with someone, following that. The young woman was to ask some questions. The first one was if he owned any guns. He told her it was none of her business. He told me about it and I told him that the VA is working with the feds to remove 2nd amendment rights from vets. He asked me to find some...

I do not post all that often so, please bear with me. A friend of mine has been waiting for a double lung transplant for many years. She is a wonderful woman, with a solid, supportive family and a true belief in the Lord. This morning, "the call" came. They drove from Vermont to Boston to prepare for the surgery. If the lungs are good, then she is likely having surgery as we speak. I am asking for the prayers of Freepers for this brave, resolute woman. Her name is Tammy and she is in God's hands. Thank you.

I received this link in an email and wanted to share it with other patriots. This version of the national anthem is pretty amazing, in my opinion. http://www.starspangledbannerchallenge.com/ I would love to see them perform at President Romney's inauguration. In addition, this link is to more information on the leader of the band. http://www.navycs.com/blogs/2012/09/03/navy-veteran-dave-bray If I did this incorrectly, please remove.

http://www.jsonline.com/watch/?watch=1&date=11/25/2007&id=32225 Please say a prayer for those affected by this terrible accident. I saw it on the news and passed the site yesterday. The areas at the medians do dip, so it may sound strange that the car went under the barrier, but we could see it.

  • Update on Missing Teen-Sad Day

    07/12/2006 11:51:17 AM PDT · by ozaukeemom · 9 replies · 646+ views
I just received news that the body of the young man missing since 6/30 was found. I have no other details as of yet, but wanted to thank all of you for your prayers. His grandparents and brother will continue to need them. I am so hoping this was an accidental death. This teen was missing for almost 2 weeks and yet nothing was put on the news because the sheriff's dept wouldn't OK it. They considered him a runaway. Even a runaway should be searched for. I am quite upset, as you can tell. Thank you all again. It...
  • Prayer Request for Missing Teen ( Update: see post #61)

I am not very good at posting but feel this is important. A young man/teen has been missing since last week. My friend's son spoke with him last Friday and there have been some "sightings". But, this boy, Jeff, is still missing. His mother passed away from cancer years ago and his father left. His grandparents are raising him. They are beside themselves. He was with his brother(18) while they were out of town & spent a night with a friend. That was last Thursday. Friday he spoke with my friend's son. Nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing since except...

She has been diagnosed with MS.This wonderful, conservative lady is only 40 and has two young children. She is lucky in that her husband and family are the best there could be. Regardless, I would like to ask for prayers for her and her family. They believe her MS is the easiest to live with, but still... Thank you for your time and prayers.
  • Total Vanity about my son, Baggyboy

    09/09/2004 8:59:24 PM PDT · by ozaukeemom · 6 replies · 134+ views
Today my son, baggyboy(FR name), had his school pictures taken. He asked me if he could take one of my Bush/Cheney pins to school. I wasn't sure what they would allow, but said "OK". He wore that pin to have his picture taken! The sad part was the photographer asked him if he had asked the principal if it was all right. He hadn't, but the picture was taken. My son told me kids are wearing the buttons and bumper stickers all over school. This is a middle school! I thought it was a hoot. If this is an inappropriate...
  • Vanity: Question on homeschooling in Rhode Island

    05/21/2003 1:20:25 PM PDT · by ozaukeemom · 5 replies · 14+ views
A friend of mine is being transferred to southern Massachusetts. They do not want to live there. They are thinking of Rhode Island. However, they homeschool their children. She has heard that in Rhode Island there are some really strict rules in regards to homeschooling. I would love to hear from anyone who does homeschool in Rhode Island. Either to give some insight as to what they need to be aware of or if it is even feasible. Thank you in advance! And sorry for the vanity, but I knew this was the best place to get information straight and...
