IMO sometimes just being the guy who teaches them cool stuff is all the appropriate attention they need. I didn’t get hugs and pats on the back from every adult male in my life - those came primarily from my dad. There were other guys I looked up to who, just by their example, helped form in me the right ideas about being a man. One was my dad’s hunting buddy, who is a Marine. The guy did everything cool that a 12-yr-old boy could imagine - martial arts, played the drums, rode a motorcycle, collected guns. Looking back he was, without even knowing, a really positive influence on me.

Thank goodness no one there had a gun, someone might’ve gotten hurt trying to stop these animals from beheading a BRITISH SOLDIER...Geez...Western society refuses to call evil what it is, and refuses to act accordingly, this is what we get.

My wife is from Greenfield and we attend church there. It’s a decent community, fairly small, still a lot of farmland in that area. You should have no problem finding a reasonably-priced house, however a house with more than a half-acre of land might be a tougher find unless you want a fixer-upper. Not much in the way of shopping within Greenfield itself (it does have a Walmart), but there’s plenty of shopping, golf, other entertainment closer to Indianapolis which isn’t far. I’ve lived in central Indiana since 1991 and I do like it, apart from the occasional cold winter.

If only we’d come to our senses and ban hamburgers this sort of tragedy wouldn’t happen. Mayor Bloomberg, call your office.

You're probably right, at least partially. I don't think he has the typical skills now, the question is whether Tebow can develop into a NFL-style passer. I've heard some "experts" say yes, others say no. And even if he can, is a team going to see enough possibility there to invest millions of dollars to help him do that? I'd hate to see him not make it in the NFL, but he'll be fine if he doesn't.
