I am trying to set up a security camera for the front gate. I need to hard wire it because out net goes down often out here in the country. NO company I can find can reach over 70 ft hard wired and I need 700 ft. All I want is a camera with IR back to a monitor in the house. All aside fences are protected with a thick stand of blackberries. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

I think we all need to chip in and help A.O.C. come up with new ideas to put in her plan. I recently posted that she says every household will be required to keep chickens for eating household waste, produce eggs and fertilizer. I also think canals should be dug across the USA so we can use sailboats for travel. We can use existing Interstate routes and dig out the medium. Fill with water and sail back and forth. Other ideas?

My wife leaves every year for a month or two to visit family overseas. I feel she should hire someone to do her job while she is not here. You know cook, clean, laundry, cuddle, scoop out the chicken house,give the dogs a bath, the important stuff. Why should I have to do all my work and hers too just because she goes on vacation for a month or more? What are your feelings about this?

I remember reading one of her books in which the following question was asked: I have to paraphrase as do not remember the exact words. Someone asked if America was ripe for plucking yet. The answer given was "No, first 3 things must happen. Get away from the gold standard, 2. Get the populace hooked on social programs. I forget the third. I read the book in the 80's and whatever was said hit me hard enough to remember to this date. I would love to reread the book. Please advise if anyone remembers it.

Does anyone know how Medicaid handles the disposal of property they have retained against medical bills by a deceased person? I have been trying to buy some property from a gentleman who ended up in a nursing home with Medicaid coverage. His widow said she had to sign papers and was not allowed to sell or even rent the property.
