Please pray I find peace in my life. The last six weeks have been filled with so much sadness. End of October my husband was hospitalized with complications of diabetes. He is getting better but it takes time. And many trips to wound care. Then my oldest child with multiple health issues got covid. He seems better but it seems to be lingering. Then mid November my mother was hospitalized with sepsis. I made the ride everyday to go see her. She was moved to hospice and passed away on Thanksgiving. I am grateful I was by her side. Three...

A man with a loaded handgun, wearing a bullet proof vest and carrying a bag of SWAT equipment authorities believe was stolen from New York City police has been arrested at Chicago's busiest train station. Chicago police say 21-year-old Isaiah Malailua was arrested Friday morning at Union Station ticket counter and charged with unlawful use of a weapon for wearing body armor. Cook County Judge John Fitzgerald Lyke set bail at $100,000 and ordered Malailua, from Redding, California, to remain in the Chicago area.

An Army intelligence bulletin is warning U.S. military personnel to be vigilant after Islamic State militants called on supporters to scour social media for addresses of their family members – and to “show up [at their homes] and slaughter them." The assessment, obtained by Fox News, came from the Army Threat Integration Center which issues early warnings of criminal and terrorist threats to Army posts worldwide. The advisory warns military personnel and their families about the Islamic State, or ISIS, calling on supporters to target their homes.

Please pray for my husband and daughter. I dont know what to do anymore. In April of 2009 he had what I call "a breakdown". His physician believed he may have had a stroke due to the drastic personality changes, but he refused to go for a brain scan. He became paranoid that he is being watched, his mail is being opened.....the list goes on and on. He no longer felt safe where we live, so we packed up and moved to northern Wisconsin. He was on medication until recently. It helped but it still didnt seem like my husband....

Pardon my vanity, but I wanted to share my own personal gov. run health care experience. First alittle background, I have been unemployed for about 2 years. My wonderful hubby lost his job about 6 months ago. We have no health insurance. Our teenage daughter is covered by Wisconsin Badgercare (state run insurance). Our daughter had her first tooth filled in July of this year. It was a molar that chipped and decayed. All was fine until labor day weekend when the filling started to become loose. I called the clinic where the work was done and they informed me...

Dan and Judy were the typical American couple. Ten years ago they purchased a modest 3 bedroom 1000sq foot ranch home in a quiet suburban neighborhood. It was everything they ever dreamed of. Judy loved the huge yard surrounded by raspberry bushes and the family spent many nights laughing around the fire pit while roasting marshmallows. Dan built a rec area in the basement so the teenagers could have their friends over for vidio games or a game of pool. They worked hard and enjoyed life. Family are their fondest and most treasured moments. It didnt matter to them that...
