I was wondering if any of your churches prayed for Trump and others who have Covid. I found it interesting that mine did not. I can't remember a church not praying for a president who was in the hospital. It turned me off.

I’m considering filing for divorce. On the grounds of infidelity and betrayal — and I’m heartsick. Don’t get me wrong, I adore my husband. It’s my union with an intimate partner of more than three decades, the evangelical church, that’s in trouble.

I have a special needs daughter who excelled after going to private school. We would have loved financial help in any form to help pay for her schooling and therapy. She went from below grade level in reading in 3rd grade to above grade level in 2 years using an Orton-Gillingham based multi-sensory reading program. I would love to use her as an example of how vouchers could help students. I would live to testify about how damaging public school was to her (pulling her from recess, not remediating her reading just dumbing down the work). Any ideas how I...

Washington (CNN) -- President Barack Obama will appoint Ron Klain his "Ebola czar," knowledgeable sources tell CNN. The president on Thursday signaled his openness to the idea to have one individual coordinating the entire federal response to any threat of an outbreak in the United States. "It may make sense for us to have one person ... so that after this initial surge of activity, we can have a more regular process just to make sure that we're crossing all the T's and dotting all the I's going forward," Obama said.

Ray Hutchison, the husband of former U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison and a power broker who played a key role in the creation of many of North Texas' most important economic engines, died at a Dallas hospital Sunday, News 8 has learned. Hutchison, who lived in Dallas with his wife, was a prominent municipal bond lawyer with the Dallas law firm Bracewell & Giuliani. Sources told News 8 that he died of a heart complication. Hutchison was 81. “Ray has been involved in virtually every major government development project of the past five decades,” said Ben Brooks, his close friend...

I'm requesting prayers for my family. We are having lots of medical problems. My husband had prostate cancer surgery in December. The initial reports are good, and the path report indicates they got the cancer. However, the cancer was upgraded to a stage 3 gleason of 7. He goes in for follow up testing the middle of March. In the meantime, my 15 year old daughter is having finger spasms. I thought it was going to turn out to be nothing, but last week the neurologist says it's a degenerative disease called dystonia. She's a really good flute player (only...

A team of advanced math and science students at San Jose's Valley Christian High School has plenty of reason to be excited. Their experiment aboard the International Space Station was turned on Friday, and they're starting to get batches of data and photographs. They also received the first video on Monday of their module as Space Station Commander Scott Kelly was checking it out. The project is trying to determine whether plant-based food can be grown to sustain astronauts during their lengthy space missions. So far, everything is working perfectly.

I need some help and I thought freepers could help. My daughter has low vitamin d due to anti-seizure medication she is taking. We are giving her 4000 IU of D3 every, but her levels have only gone from 19-24 (under 30 is deficient), and we've been supplementing for over a year. Our pediatrician is not sure what to do. My daughter is also symptomatic of low Vitamin D. This past year she has gotten lots of colds, her allergies are worse, and her problems with asthma are significantly worse. I know there have been lots of posts about problems...
