It's amazing to me how many younger people do not cook for themselves and either dine out or microwave the majority of their meals. While I do enjoy dining out, I try to limit it. I know that what I cook for myself (usually steamed vegetables, some type of grain, nuts, and occasionally meat) is going to be way more healthy for me than anything served even at a fancy "healthy" restaurant. I also try to avoid processed foods as much as possible.
Microwave food is the worst. Not because of the microwaves, but because of all the crazy chemicals in microwave foods. The only exception I make to the microwave rule is Nathan's Bagel Dogs - 90 seconds to food heaven!
It’s a strange economy at the moment. Many people I know are either working a lot of overtime or have a second job. Yet there are still a lot of entry level jobs that are going unfilled. Perhaps the true unemployment rate is actually negative?
Science? Sorry Le’ Brandeu, but things like believing the earth is flat, CO2 causes Globull Warming, and that vaccines offer any type of protection to anyone is not science!
