When China put in place its one-child policy four decades ago, policy makers said they would simply switch gears if births dropped too much. That has turned out to be not so easy.
“In 30 years, the current problem of especially dreadful population growth may be alleviated and then [we can] adopt different population policies,” the Communist Party said in a 1980 open letter to members and young people.
With the number of births declining year after year, China is now racing in the opposite direc-tion, closing abortion clinics and expanding services to help couples conceive. But a legacy of the one-child policy, scrapped in 2016, is a dwindling number of women of childbearing age as well as a generation of only children who are less eager to marry and start a family...

That can’t be good.
Especially since Chinese couples really wanted boys, so they aborted a lot of little baby girls. This has led to a rather large sex discrepancy in their population. Which per Mark Steyn, may lead to China being the first gay superpower since Sparta.
I guess no one predicted that?
They will just impose forced conception.

Stick them all in the PLA and send them west; the worst that can happen is they can all die and solve the problem, or they could be lucky and conquer all the silk road countries.
Lots of single-child families, over several generations. That means no siblings, no aunts and uncles, no cousins, etc. Only one adult child to care for elder parents with no support from aunts or uncles. Worse, most are boys and have no sister siblings from which to learn about relationships between boys and girls. When and if these boys marry, the wife has no sister-in-law to help her. China is screwed up.

Imagine the millions of babies aborted, Ralph Northamed (post birth abortion) The blood of the millions of babies is on the hands of the CCP. When the CCP found out of an illegal pregnancy, they would forcibly abort the child.

The government being involved in decided who should have children and how many always ends in tears.

No matter how it looks in theory from the Spartans to the Chinese it just does not work out. Put aside all the moral and religious reasons they should not be involved if you must but on a practical level it just does not work.
