the deficit isn’t an issue IMO. The law needs to be repealed because unemployed people are lazy and unmotivated and are not worthy of healthcare anyways.

More bleeding heart liberal garbage. Now she’s probably on welfare and votes democrat, while the rest of society suffers by having a former crack head roaming free. People found with crack on their person need to get life or the chair, preferably the chair, before they are allowed to destroy America from inside any further.

Reminds me of the National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984, where they threatened to withhold federal highway funds from any state that did not raise the age to 21.
wow, disagree with someone’s choice for office and they’re an ethically defective “pathetic little worm”. Sad that political discourse has degraded to this level nowadays.

The one thing that the more impoverished ares of Chicago could use is a source of low priced goods and services (not to mention an additional source of employment that probably pays better than 90% of the stores in the area). Anyone who’s ever had to shop at the corner store for groceries or otherwise can attest to this.
Sadly, the poor people in that area are either uninformed or misinformed, and rally against their own best interests. The educated, well-off liberals are uninformed too, in thinking they are doing this community a service by lobbying against Wal-Marts and other big box stores.
To top it off, they tout themselves as ‘socially conscious’ by shopping at stores like Target, whose track records are hardly any better.
