With the issue of excessive college tuition on the front burner for decades, many colleges and universities have compounded the problem by arbitrarily shutting their doors in the past week or so, purportedly as a countermeasure to the coronavirus "pandemic." This is occurring without any evidence of coronavirus on campus. Seems like students and/or their parents or other benefactors who have already paid their tuition and/or room/board for the current semester/trimester/quarter are being unilaterally ripped off here, with no compensation in sight. The question I'm posing here is: Should there be a strident demand for pro-rated refunds from the colleges,...

In retrospect, the events surrounding the Foster homicide showed the overwhelming power of the Deep State to cover up a shocking crime which occurred 25 years ago today. They simply called it a "suicide" and left it at that. The credible evidence overwhelmingly suggested "homicide," yet no perp nor perps were ever brought to justice. No perps of a serious crime brought to justice? Sounds familiar?

Shin Bet, Israel's security agency, said Tuesday that in recent weeks it thwarted a plot to assassinate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

If you've ever heard the term "self-hating Jew," but didn't know what it meant, look no further than Vermont Senator Berni Sanders. Sanders, in a video message to the hard-left Israeli Meretz party to mark the end of the Six Day War in 1967 and “50 years of Occupation,” said, “The occupation must end.” Sanders commenced his loathing of the Jewish state by referring to Meretz, which only has five seats in Israel’s 120-seat Knesset, as “Israel’s most prominent political organization.” Gushing that Meretz stands “for many of the same values that progressives are fighting for here in the United...

Rep. Mark Pocan (D., Wis.) has been identified as the anonymous member of Congress who reserved official Capitol Hill space for an anti-Israel forum that is being organized by several organizations that support boycotts of the Jewish state, according to congressional sources who spoke to the Washington Free Beacon. News of the June 8 anti-Israel event, which was first disclosed earlier this week by the Free Beacon, sparked outrage on Capitol Hill and initiated a search to identify the anonymous member of Congress sponsoring the event. The event, which sources confirmed to the Free Beacon is being sponsored by Pocan,...

Over the last week, as videos emerged of executives at the abortion factory known as Planned Parenthood allegedly selling aborted baby body parts, Planned Parenthood has, rightfully, come under heavy fire. Now, however, Planned Parenthood’s allies on the Left are circling the wagons to defend the abortion factory. For example, rather than investigating the potentially illegal practices of Planned Parenthood, Barack Obama’s new Attorney General, Lorretta Lynch, has announced that she is going to investigate the group that exposed the heinous actions. In addition to the DOJ investigation, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka has come forward to defend Planned Parenthood. “Planned...

WASHINGTON (JTA) – From the man who married her grandmother to the man who married her daughter, from working a room full of bar mitzvah guests on behalf of her husband’s political career to headlining major pro-Israel events during her own, Hillary Rodham Clinton’s journey has never wandered far from Jews. Clinton’s Jewish encounters have been a natural consequence of her East Coast education, her trajectory in the party favored by a substantial majority of Jewish-Americans, and her embrace of the Jewish narrative of triumphing over adversity and bigotry, longtime friends of the 2016 presidential candidate say. Sara Ehrman, whose...

President Obama sought to reassure American Jews that he fully supports the state of Israel while reiterating the need for a two-state solution at a Northwest Washington synagogue on Friday. Obama spoke at the Adas Israel Synagogue on the inaugural “solidarity sabbath,” a holiday meant to consolidate support for Jews amid rising anti-Semitism that falls toward the end of Jewish Heritage Month. On Friday, lawmakers were slated to appear in congregations across the country to mark the day. ......................... “When we allow anti-Semitism to take root, our souls are destroyed,” Obama said. “It will spread.” The statements follow a wide-ranging...

David Axelrod, President Obama’s former longtime senior strategist, has been caught minimizing his father’s participation with the Communist Party USA. Further, there is evidence Axelrod himself was mentored early on by communist activists. In his book “Believer: My Forty Years in Politics,” released two weeks ago, Axelrod makes light of the communist affiliation of his father, Ukrainian immigrant Joseph Axelrod.

The United States has a long history of voter fraud that has been documented by historians and journalists. Such fraud can make the difference in a close election, and we have many elections – particularly at the local and state level – that are decided by a very small number of votes. Every American citizen who is eligible should be able to vote, but it is equally important that every citizen’s vote not be diluted or stolen through fraud, especially fraud that could change the outcome of an election. Election integrity is fundamental to securing free and fair elections, which...

The next wave of ObamaCare insurance cancellations is under way, flying largely under the national media radar… until Wal-Mart announced it would be dropping coverage for all its part-time employees.

Time and again, we hear from the Democrats that voter fraud is not an important issue. Despite their ardent insistence, we continue to see people getting arrested for voter fraud, usually from their own party! Today’s news continues that trend. Democratic Connecticut State Representative Christina Ayala has been arrested on 19 counts of voter fraud.

PRINCETON, NJ -- The Republican Party has expanded its historical edge over the Democratic Party in Americans' minds as being better able to protect the U.S. from international terrorism and military threats. At this point, 55% of Americans choose the GOP on this dimension, while 32% choose the Democratic Party. This is the widest Republican advantage in Gallup's history of asking this question since 2002.

Washington (CNN) – A small edge right now in a key indicator of the midterm elections could lead to a big advantage for the Republicans over the Democrats come November. That's the suggestion from a new CNN/ORC International poll, that also indicates that President Barack Obama's lackluster approval ratings and pessimistic perceptions about the economy could also make 2014 a good year for the GOP at the ballot box.......................................................... Six months before Election Day, the GOP has a one point edge over the Democrats (46%-45%) among registered voters nationwide in the generic ballot. The question asks respondents to choose between...

In what many observers will see as the de facto expression of mainstream U.S. Jewry’s outlook on J Street, members of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations on Wednesday voted 22-17 (with three abstentions) to reject the membership application of the self-labeled “pro-Israel, pro-peace” lobby. J Street secured the votes of only about a third of the Conference’s 50 members. The 42 Conference members in attendance in New York exceeded the 75-percent quorum needed to hold the vote, but J Street fell significantly short of the required threshold of a two-thirds affirmative vote from the Conference’s full...

“Let us leave a spare place at our table: a place for those who lack the basics, who are alone.” - Pope Francis via Twitter January 7, 2014 In three short phrases, Pope Francis has once again taken the lead in advocating for economic justice and fairness. Where not long ago a battle raged over the growing and disproportionate wealth of the so-called “one percent,” the new 77-year old leader of the Catholic church has gained more support in nine months than the Occupy Wall Street movement or Fast Food Forward have in five years. This new found papal popularity...

Pro-Israel leaders on Monday expressed alarm over what they characterized as the Obama administration’s efforts to sow division among Jewish leaders in order to advance a policy that they say would permit Iran to cross the nuclear threshold. Rifts emerged between the leaders of four top Jewish groups over the weekend following an “intense” meeting last week with National Security Adviser Susan Rice and other top officials at the White House, according to several insiders. The Obama administration sought to enlist the pro-Israel leaders in their fight to delay Congress from passing a new round of Iran sanctions for at...

Young New Yorkers who want to light up will soon have to wait for their 21st birthdays before they can buy a pack of smokes after lawmakers in the nation's most populous city voted overwhelmingly to raise the tobacco-purchasing age from 18 to 21. City Council's vote Wednesday makes New York the biggest city to bar cigarette sales to 19- and 20-year-olds, and one of only a few places throughout the United States that have tried to stymie smoking among young people by raising the purchasing age. The age limit also would apply to electronic-vapor cigarettes, The council also approved...

The mayoral candidate who often calls New York a “tale of two cities” has a personal tale of three names. Most New Yorkers have come to know Bill de Blasio as the Democratic candidate with the affable family, including a teenage son who has been featured in campaign ads. Left unsaid in the candidate’s official biography is that Bill de Blasio is his third legal name. The man who could become the city’s 109th mayor was born Warren Wilhelm Jr. on May 8, 1961, in Manhattan, his birth certificate shows. In 1983, fresh out of New York University, he petitioned...
