I am the adoptive father of an almost 6 year old girl. My ex-wife was found by Department of Social Services to have abused my sweet little girl to allege that I molested her.
DSS reported that my ex “locked her in a dark room for days, withheld food from her during that time, would not let her use the bathroom and when she peed in her pants, stuck her head in the toilet”
There’s more, those are just the worst parts. There is no telling what a psychopathic woman will do to a child to justify her ends. So, so sad.

This cracks me up! Born 1953. When I grew up the life my two sisters and I led, would lead to arrest or kids being taken away by DSS today.
My siblings and I were routinely told, “Go outside and play”!! So emphatically, in fact, that my Mom used to lock us out of the house during the day. “Mom, we’re hungry and cold”, we would plead at the back door. LOL....to no avail. Scratching our tiny fingers in the New England frost on the windows, “Please let us in!!”

God, we wandered far and wide, not a care in the world. Those were the days that made real people. To freaking hell with the nanny state.

Thanks to my folks, I became independent, I learned how to survive, how to be a real human being.

Well, I guess I grew up in far different times. Raised in my pre-school and early grade school years in lily white Westchester County, NY. This is circa early mid 1950’s.

I never even knew black people existed until my family moved to Culpepper, VA in 1961. Coming home from school on the first day a group of black kids asked if I wanted to play basketball. Indeed I joined in. Some concerned white folk called my grandmother to tell her and I was severely scolded and chastised when I got home.

Tallulah Falls, Georgia, on Hwy 23/441 is a town of 168 souls. There’s a spot where you come down a hill around a curve and cross a bridge and the speed limit goes from 55 to 35 in a blink of an eye. Town police chief sits at the bottom of the hill.......waiting.

Thanks.......I give all in this situation the benefit of the doubt. Simply because of my experiences that I spoke of in post #35 on this thread.

I cannot judge either party in this fiasco, however I certainly know the wrath of a woman scorned.

I for one, must give Woody Allen the benefit of the doubt here.
As one who has been on the receiving end of not just one, but SEVEN allegations (regarding a young daughter) from an unstable, vindictive, malicious ex-wife. I am here to tell you that false allegations DO happen that involve crazy women making things up and forcing and coaching children to repeat them. Especially so while there is custody litigation going on. It is well known in family law circles to be the “nuclear bomb” of custody battles. It's fallout touches all, survivors are wounded for life. There are NO winners.

Every one of the allegations foisted upon me was meticulously investigated by both Social Services and Law Enforcement. EVERY last one was found to be unsubstantiated and unfounded. But on and on they went. No one stops them. Social Services has the mandate to investigate each and every allegation.

I came to be living life under a microscope. DSS in and out of my house continuously. One allegation would be dismissed and within a month another would appear.

In one of the allegations, my crazy ex told DSS that, my daughter told her and this is an exact quote “Papa manipulated my vulva with his fingers” These are the exact words in the DSS allegation that a 5 year old girl allegedly uttered. Does this sound like a five year old, or an adult. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

In a subsequent allegation, it went like this:

DSS goes to my daughter's day care, removes her from her class for questioning, in a private room:

DSS: Did Papa do these bad things to you?

Child: No, he never hurt me

DSS: Did someone tell you to say Papa did these bad things to you?

Child: Yes

DSS: Who told you to say these things?

Child: Mommy made me say these bad things

DSS: How did Mommy make you say these bad things?

Child: She locked me in a dark room for a long, long time, she would not give me any food, she would not let me go to the bathroom. When I peed in my pants, she put my head in the toilet. She hit me on my head with a broomstick. She burned me with a cigarette.

It was after hearing that, that DSS,later that day, took Law Enforcement to my ex-wife’s home and forcibly removed my daughter from her care. I was given full custody of my daughter. Crazy ex received supervised visitation only, 3 hours per week.

Long story short. I do not know the truth behind the Woody Allen, Mia Farrow story. What I do know is that MY experiences tell me that in a custody battle, anything can happen and frankly, it does.

I remember that storm in 1978 well. Had a VW Rabbit, diesel and the fuel tank froze solid.

At least they stayed away from the brown acid. That would have been a real bummer.

Got to be prepared for freak weather any time of year hiking in the Smokies. On a hike from Deep Creek in the Smokies up to Clingman’s Dome some 20 years ago, in the middle of August, I got caught in a freak thunderstorm that came out of nowhere. Forecast for the day had been clear with 0% of precip, temps at 6K elevation 68 degrees.

We were maybe a mile down from the summit and the storm blew in, hail, 50 mph winds and the temp dropped 30 degrees in 30 minutes. Soaking wet, crawling through laurel tunnels, it was bone chilling cold. Could have gotten ugly if it happened close to sundown.

I don’t really give a hoot who thinks what about this girl. Whether she is immoral, a moron, had it coming or whatever.....is beyond the point.

That people would publicly delight in trashing this girl is beyond the pale.

This is a symptom of the huge lack of morality in this country.

What the hell ever happened to “Let he who hath no sin cast the first stone”

And so on.

So many freaking hypocrites.

I filed for divorce against my ex-wife in 2010. Divorced in 2011. A five year old daughter in the mix.

Beginning in December 2011, I have been the recipient of 7 separate allegations of abuse concerning my daughter. 3 or 4 of them were sexual abuse. The other 3 or four were for things ranging from physical abuse because she had a blister on her thumb. Physical abuse because my step-daughter allegedly pushed her out of bed.

On and on it goes, continuing still. All seven allegations were found to be unsubstantiated/unfounded by DSS. I got full custody of my daughter during one of the investigations, when my daughter told DSS that her mother did the following to make her lie about me:

Hit her over the head with a broomstick.
Burned her with a cigarette.
Stuck her head in a toilet.
Withheld food from her.
Locked her in a dark room for hours and hours.

Judges have ruled my ex has “no credibility”

But the accusations keep coming.

And DSS still listens/investigates.

It’s a freaking nightmare. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times DSS has visited, some unannounced, some announced.

Never put anything past a crazy ex.
