    Washington Post ^ | December 18, 2015 | David Weigel
"Without question, Rubio and Cruz have been for amnesty," Paul told The Washington Post in a call with reporters today. "It's kind of a silly debate. The amendment Cruz put forward was not intended to be a poison pill. It was for legalization."

The figures that are being released are biased and dishonest, says damning paper drawn up by a society of French mathematicians. This crusade is absurd. There is not a single fact, figure or observation that leads us to conclude that the worlds climate is in any way disturbed. It is variable, as it has always been.

They are not being issued under the authority of the Rowan County clerk's office. They are not worth the paper that they are written on," said attorney Mat Staver after meeting with Davis in the Carter County jail in Grayson. Rowan County Attorney Cecil Watkins previously dismissed that argument, saying deputy clerks can issue valid marriage licenses without their boss's approval.

What a hoot to watch pundits clutching their pearls and whimpering for smelling salts aghast over the latest “shocking” thing Donald Trump said, while The Donald ignores them and continues to soar. Silly kingmakers just don’t know what to make of this. Well, we do!

Every Republican likes to think he or she is the next Ronald Reagan. Some who say this do so for lack of their own ideas and agenda. Reagan was a great leader and President. But too often people make him into something he wasn’t in order to serve their own political purposes.

Thoughts on Benghazi from a long time Freeper. The Big Picture Obama is almost certainly deep in debt to the Saudis. The Saudis are battling Iran for control of the Middle East, North Africa. So we are backing the Saudis against Iran, Al Quida and other militant Shiite groups. Why we care about the Saudis, other than oil, is a mystery to me, but we have been backing the Saudis long before Obama took office. (It should be noted that were the Saudis to stop accepting US dollars for oil, the world would have little use for US dollars. )...

If you start with a cage containing five monkeys and inside thecage, hang a banana on a string from the top and then you place a set of stairs under the banana, before long a monkey will go to the stairs and climb toward the banana. As soon as he touches the stairs, you spray all the other monkeyswith cold water. After a while another monkey makes an attempt with same result... all the other monkeys are sprayed with cold water. Pretty soon when another monkey tries to climb the stairs, the other monkeys will try to prevent it. Now,...

Since President Nixon declared war on drugs in 1971 the United States has jailed tens of million of its' citizens. In 2008 alone 1.5 million American were arrested and 500,000 were imprisoned. At a cost of $45,000 per prisoner per year over 22 billion dollars were spent in prison costs alone for just those busted in 2008. I would imagine the costs to the courts, parole officers and police departments are equally large. And then there is the unmeasurable societal cost of a lost income to a community and the breakup of families effected should it be a mom or...
