I looked and then verified and continually verify. I can't see holding anything else in the grip of my hand other than gold. All else is either messy or hard to store.

'the only alternative' to paper and a promise. All others are confidence games which I don't care to play with on either side of the fence.

HEY! how come you don't visit us LP ?

... their Central Bank was nuts for buying so much of our debt....that we would never repay them. ... they believe me, but had no idea what to do about it

Sounds like our problem. The only difference being our CB is the one making the debt. We're actually siamesed together inasmuch as it takes some one to accept that debt for debt to be created.

But I think it might behoove you to understand some TA because you're up against people who use it.

TA management of trading is what caused the currency snafu today as spoken about in Sinclair's posts and the attendant gold/silver bullion and equities sell off today.

And as Sinclair cautions, I look for an immediate snap back next week. Or if there is any lingering fear, further drop. A close watch of the Sunday night world wide Monday start up is a MUST.

Fundamentals tells me to only be in bullion and its equities and also other commodities. I use TA to trade them.

Trading in bullion/equities and currencies also puts you playing in the league of the powers that be on the planet. Their calling card is currencies and the wild card in the deck at this time is bullion.

5 card Stud anyone ? The stakes (as always) is literally the future of the whole planet. Know when and what to hold and better start folding on paper. Paper of any kind, dollars or bonds is what is being used to use you.

businesses pay about 7-8 percent of their product sales in bribes. For this reason Western companies didn’t want to work in Russia ...

Now this is an interesting dilema. Bribes may be a standard or cultural way of doing business in Russia. But in the US, you can be charged with an illegal bribe, be sued, etc. Lobbying is OK as long as no paricular party or person has a personal financial gain. Perks are OK. There maybe just a thin line separating these two but it is discernable, especially in a court of law.

They're hangin in there wanting to be 'THE' currency world wide. Also trying to save face with the ECB agreement.

The whole economic system world wide is a game of chicken and who's going to be left standing and wind up with the prize.

Short and Sweet Scott. But what happened is not news. Where's the insider or samesider stuff.

Bullion went back to Friday's close and is now taking off again. Guess they wanted to back up and give their buddies a chance to jump on who were not quick enough on Tuesday. Or, they have set up to ring every penny they can get by keeping the trading in a band. Buy at $410, sell above $416, come back again and do it again tomorrow.

Guess buy and hold is not the chant at the moment.

    checks written on nonexistent accounts

Now how did he ever get this to happen ??????? Where'd the money come from if the checks were totally bogus and where did he get the checks from to write a check ???

    This is really bizarre.

Guess those guys didn't read the text or the charts. Everything is Bullish.

    Not everything.

They also missed the "rising Thrust Oscilators". And that was in the very first paragraph.

Looking forward to gathering up all of my scattered wits over the next 3 days and coming on strong next week.

One thing he may be missing on his CRB cycle is the fact that economic manipulative history is in the making along with new quantums of debt and fiat money.

I also feel the USD and POG had to be hit hard with the coming US holiday on Monday. Just a scare tactic for the other markets not to take advantage of a good thing. Also it was a good idea to take advantage of it now before everyone else did on Monday while the US elite are out to lunch.

BUGS really consolidated all week long. It almost seemed like there were extended periods when nothing traded. Getting all set for the big leg up that's coming.

Do you really really really want to study this ?

If you do, you really need to be studying it from the stand point of the individual !

What makes one succeed and what doesn't. Yes there are socio-polital hurdles that may be different between individuals. But, there are still those in each class of individual who succeed and those who don't.

I would not waste time on this site getting socio-political BIASED opinions. I would put together a study of the factors, socio-political, educational and personal ability and see what are the most common factors for success and those for failure. Then you will have something with FACT behind it to go for.

You'll get nothing by this exercise except narrow skewed opinions which will give you nothing to go for.

If you truly, truly care and want to do something about it, then do a proper fact finding study, NOT a populous opinion poll. Where's the socio-politcal-environment-education-ability quotient in that ??????

And ....... Did you see what POG did and after hitting both of my ticks, $412 & $415.8. It'll be interesting on Monday with the US closed and the rest of the world wondering if they should jump in or not.

Geeez you post this early. Doesn't give me time to close my trading and get to the office to close it for the day.

NOTICE ! refi's are up in LA, major volume showing up.

I swear, there was nothing but traderbots on the BUGS today. No event, no emotion no serious up or down ticks. Fundamentals are still in, TA trends have not changed and like I said the 3rd factor there were no human events or emotions. Getting boring. Nothing to rant about.

Gold however reached my stated target of $412 nicely and is going for the next plateau, $415.80. A tick a day. The USD is still down and out, flat at just above .85 on the index.

Silver went to town. It touched $6.69. This is a double top. Look for a double top breakout real soon.

The 10yr treasury auctioned today. Didn't see any release on how that went. Anybody see anything ?

You must see stock charts in your head when you close your eyes at night

I actually did dream of how I would play the following day after I had gone to bed after some hours of study & setup for trading. Two trading sessions in less than 24 hours, what more could you ask for. Making moola of course.
