takfiri are sunni muslims who believe that anyone of another religion is a legitimate trget for death, including sunnis who do not believe in exactly the same ideals as they do. They are basically jihadist sunni supremacists with genocidal fantasies.

The bank would prefer everyone goes for this deal. People seemed to have ignored the fact that the bank will not give these clients interest on their fixed deposits. Losing 80 pounds in potential overdraft fees is nothing compared to not having to pay customers interest on their deposits.

The drug use is a myth. In fact the history of the order of the Assassins or the Ismaili muslim sect is rather interesting.

The only loser in this whole debacle in the middle east will be the middle eastern Christians. Look at what happened in Iraq, look at Egypt, look at Syria. By the time things calm down in Iraq and Syria there will virtually be no trace of Christianity in those countries. I sometimes feel people are a little too shortsighted and just a touch too happy to see violence in the region without realizing the consequences.
What should be happening is a complete breakup of Syria Iraq Lebanon, parts of turkey and iran into different countries for different religious and ethnic sects. A Christian nation, a Kurdish nation, a sunni nation and a Shiite/alawite nation. That is the only way there would be any sanity in the region. The middle east should have taught us one very important lesson, there cannot be coexistence with islam. You must either submit, or accept to be treated as second class with no value on your life.

    Enjoy your popcorn.

Actually Phillips was winning since the turn, the river did not change anything since Phillips already had the straight when the turn hit. Mabuchi could have only pushed him off preflop or on the flop. He might have been able to fold the aces had the fourth one not hit. I feel bad for the guy, he isn’t going to forget that one, although he probably feels the sting way less since he was already beat by the time the river hit. At least he has a nice story to tell his friends.

Saudi Arabian and gulf oil dollars is the reason why. An oil embargo by arab nations would be catastrophic for the stock market. There would be a significant contraction of the stock market and when you can see that the top 5% of earners in the USA own more than 80% of the equity market it becomes a no brainer that the most powerful people here would try to appease the sunni muslims(GCC countries) political desires.
Granted, we are less dependent on middle eastern oil than in the past but the price of oil would skyrocket, while having an opposite effect on the stock market. With this Iran deal I am fairly confident that oil prices will likely drop.

    1) Muslim Brotherhood is a Sunni organization
    2) Most of the muslim people in obamas camp are sunni
    3) We are supporting sunni extremists in Syria against Shiites
    4) His advisors are all Sunni muslims
    5) We were quiet when majority Shiite Bahrainis wanted representation from their sunni rulers, there was practically no media coverage on the fact that Saudi Arabia sent troops to crush them quietly.

I don’t know what world you live in, but Obama is by far and large pro sunni. Also your scenarios are unrealistic, there is a reason why nations refrain from using nuclear weapons, because there will be reactions, quite possibly nuclear ones. Before you go on about how these fanatics would blow up their country to achieve their goal, that is also unrealistic.

You seem to be defending Saudi Arabia a lot. Al Qaeda has nothing to do with Iran, Zawahiri even went as far as to declare war on Shiites saying they are the enemy just as much as we and Israel are. In Syria, they have been destroying and targeting Shiite holy sites as well as churches, in Iraq they have been bombing Shiite mosques, in Pakistan they have been attacking Shiite pilgrims.

So to simplify, their leader is vehemently against iran and Shiite islam, their actions are to openly target Shiites for being Shiite. Iran has militias in Syria fighting al Qaeda. Given these facts, your conclusion is that Iran is backing al Qaeda?
I can’t possibly believe that you are being genuine. Either you are a Sunni muslim, or a troll, or rather ignorant.

Technically the objective of the crusade was to push islam back out of Europe. In that respect the Christians were successful. People love to show the Christians as the aggressors but the reality is that the pope was pleading with the European powers to assemble an army as the muslims were pushing into Europe.

He is simply stating facts. Its a fact that Shiite islam and its extremist elements are milder than those of sunni islam. It does not mean he is defending one or the other.

Also someone posted about the Lebanese who had to move to Israel out of fear from Hezbollah. Those were mostly South Lebanese army members. The SLA was composed of mostly Shiite people, and the SLA were invited to remain in Israel to be safe from Hezbollah reprisal once they left in 2000.

No one issaying one side is better than the other. Clearly both sides are horrible. However, in the real world you can’t eliminate 1.6 billion people. With Shiite and sunni islam you have a scenario where they hate each other, so tactically we can pit either side against each other. However, if I HAVE to choose which side I would want to win, it is a no brainer that Shiite islam is not as extreme when it comes to people who are not of their faith. That is a fact, and it won’t change no matter how much you argue against it.

Personally, I would support whichever side won’t massacre Christians in the middle east. Using Iraq as an example that is obvious that the sunnis target Shiites and Christians, and using the Lebanese civil war it is obvious that the Lebanese who fought the Christian militias were sunni groups allied to Palestinians. Shiite militias were never in conflict with Christians during the war, in fact Shiites fought alongside them in the SLA(currently most of them still reside in Israel)

When did Iran threaten to use a nuclear weapon on Israel? In fact when did Iran threaten to wipe Israel off the face of the earth? I know which speeches you are thinking of by ahmedinejad, but it is easy to research that our media and the globe edited and mistranslated his speeches for drama and sensationalism.
His first time he was quoted as saying this, he in fact said Zionism needs to be eliminated. (Zionism does not mean Israel as a nation, nor does it mean Jews) The media took this and ran with it as he threatens to wipe Israel off the map. He followed up his Zionism needs to be eliminated sentence with, “the best way to do this is democratically”.
I am not saying Iranian government are good, they are far from it. Our best ally Saudi Arabia, however are Nazis in comparison. At the very least Iran has churches and Christians and synagogues and Jewish people living there and represented in government. In Saudi Arabia you cant even vacation there if you are Christian, you cant own two bibles if you work there, and there are no churches and is illegal to build churches.
If we want to delve next into the fanatics backed by both regimes you only need to look at Hezbollah (backed by Iran) and Al Qaeda(backed by sunni extremists).

Here is a link of hezbollah’s leader talking against how al Qaeda jihadists target Shiite pilgrims, and bomb churches and target Christians for worshipping Christianity. Goes on to call their school of thought to be a new religion and a fabrication.
Compare this to Al Qaeda and the muslim brotherhood and their backers stance on Christians in the middle east. Look at Iraq, Egypt and Syria at how sunni groups target Christians and bomb them and kill them.

The sad thing about all this, is a terrorist like Hezbollah’s leader is quicker to defend middle eastern Christians against al Qaeda than our own president.

My whole point here was to show who our allies are and who Russia’s allies are. We sell advanced weapons to far more intolerant people than Russia does, and we are empowering the people who want to cleanse the region of a Christian presence making us just as guilty as al Qaeda.
