  • Poll: Joe Manchin’s Political Future May ‘Hinge on Defense of Filibuster’

    10/06/2021 5:53:46 AM PDT · by Gopher Broke · 19 replies
Moderate Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-WV) political future may hinge on his “continued defense of the filibuster,” according to a poll released by Honest Election Project on Tuesday. A majority of Manchin’s supporters are against ending the filibuster, something far-left Democrats are keen on and have been pressuring both Manchin and fellow moderate Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) to support. According to the poll, 56 percent of West Virginians (including 59 percent of Manchin supporters) would be less likely to support him for reelection if he votes to eliminate or weaken the filibuster.

  • Virginia Democrats Select a Straight Pro-abortion Ticket in 2021 Primary

    06/09/2021 5:28:46 AM PDT · by Gopher Broke · 9 replies
The results of Tuesday's 2021 Democratic primary make it completely clear that the extremist abortion views of the last four years will continue into this year’s elections. All three winners of this primary hold radical positions on abortion, including allowing abortion through all nine months of pregnancy and turning a blind eye to infanticide if a baby survives an abortion. None of the three winners condemned Gov. Northam’s comment in 2019 that indicated how a baby who survived an abortion could be killed after birth. Former Governor Terry McAuliffe, the winner of Tuesday’s primary for Governor, is on record as...

Sign our petition to the Loudoun County Public School board For the second time in as many months, the Loudoun County Public School board has come under fire. This time, teachers and parents are speaking out against the district's policy of requiring staff to recognize and sanction transgenderism by using pronouns that don't fit the biological make-up of students. Last week, AFA asked you to support Fight for Schools, a group of parents pushing to recall six of nine LCPS board members for implementing the very dangerous and Marxist Critical Race Theory.
  • Governor Noem Is Responsible for Killing South Dakota's Women's Sports Bill

    03/29/2021 1:31:12 PM PDT · by Gopher Broke · 120 replies
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Earlier today, the South Dakota House of Representatives by an overwhelming vote of 67 -- 2 soundly rejected Governor Noem's "style and form" veto of HB 1217, the Fairness in Women's Sports Act. Governor Noem quickly responded today by again refusing to sign HB 1217, effectively killing the bill. Despite Governor Noem's veto of this bill and refusal to take a strong stand for women's sports, the House's nearly unanimous vote is a strong rebuke of the NCAA and the tentacles of Big Business that pressured Governor Noem to retreat from her earlier support of the bill...

  • Comments Needed on Virginia Model Policies for Transgender Students

    01/13/2021 11:55:32 AM PST · by Gopher Broke · 14 replies
Dear Fellow Virginians, At the direction of the Virginia General Assembly, the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) was instructed to develop model policies for the Treatment of Transgender Students in Public Elementary and Secondary Schools. As you read through a small sampling of the proposed policies listed below my signature line, keep in mind that there are no religious exceptions or accommodations for those in the faith community. The model policies are far-reaching and will have untold impact on our children and grandchildren. Parental authority and religious freedom are under attack. Now is the time to make your opinion heard....

Everytown originally announced its endorsement of Ossoff on September 15, 2020, then re-announced it following the development of a January 5, 2021, runoff between Ossoff and pro-Second Amendment Senator David Perdue (R-GA). Dozens of veterans from Georgia are calling on Democratic Senate candidate Rev. Raphael Warnock to drop out of the state’s run-off race in January after his nearly a decade-old comment saying “nobody can serve God and the military” resurfaced. Fox News obtained a list of more than four dozen Georgia veterans who are calling on Warnock to suspend his campaign. FLASHBACK: RAPHAEL WARNOCK IN 2011: 'AMERICA, NOBODY CAN SERVE GOD AND THE MILITARY' “Raphael Warnock’s comments about military men and women are despicable and flat-out wrong,” the veterans said in a statement. “Here in Georgia, true leaders recognize the service...

    11/18/2020 7:12:53 AM PST · by Gopher Broke · 64 replies
Families need to be aware that Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” movie specials will be very different this year since the network will be including LGBTQ content and characters in its original movies for the first time ever. For example, The Christmas House, set to air Sunday, November 22, at 8:00 p.m. CST will include a gay couple. The cast features Johnathan Bennett and Brad Harder as gay dads-to-be through adoption. Hallmark Channel, owned by Crown Media Family Networks, announced its plans to start introducing gay and transgender storylines into its movies after receiving online complaints about the lack of...

  • Democrats Suggest Out-of-State Liberals Move to Georgia to Vote in Senate Runoff Elections

Democrats are suggesting that out-of-state Democrats temporarily move to Georgia for the sole purpose of helping to beat Senators Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) and David Perdue (R-GA) in their runoff elections against Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock on January 5. Moving to Georgia only to vote in the election would likely amount to fraud, the Georgia Secretary of State’s office made clear to the Wall Street Journal:
