Setting aside the “Russia” bullshit, I’ll just say that I worked for Apple for nearly ten years and what Biden supposedly did was something that people would do ALL THE GODDAMNED TIME. Frankly, in exactly the circumstances described.
1. “Rich” guy comes in with Mac that “just doesn’t turn on.”
2. We open it up and find that it’s taken a bath and call them and tell them that it’ll be $1000 to fix.
3. We never hear from them again.
4. After a few months, we’d dispose of the machine (actually get rid of it).
I probably saw this exact scenario play out hundreds of times.
I think that’s probable. It’s the best explanation for why social media networks went nuclear over this right away, when the revelations - while damning - hardly appear deserving of such drastic action on the surface.
I assume they’re getting ready for the video of Hunter being pegged by a hooker while doing blow.
I don’t think that it’s that. Looking at these numbers, I think that the more likely scenario is that Biden took a huge jump in a bunch of these polls taken right around the Wuhan Coronavirus scare because people weren’t (and perhaps still aren’t) sure if Trump was even going to be ok.
I think we need to wait a seek and see how these polls shake out.
I think that a bunch of people, especially given the COVID cowards out there, thought that the President would be on the verge of death/severely debilitated by the virus which had a catastrophic short-term impact.
But there may be a huge rubber band effect within days as well.
They don’t carry 8 or 12, they carry 4. And you think that the Democrats are going to increase the warhead count?
In any case, we need more nukes, not fewer. We might want to consider using them offensively against China one day. When it comes to delivery systems, more is better.
There are about 400 Minuteman IIIs. Supposing that, at most, you’d have seven Ohios ready to fire at any time, that’d be 560 warheads. But they’re not all going to be close.
As well, I’m not sure how the RCP average in 2016 was calculated, but looking at the polls themselves, Clinton essentially opened up a ten point lead the following week in 2016:
