<p>JERUSALEM — Secretary of State Colin Powell called off his Saturday meeting with Yasser Arafat after a new suicide bombing on Friday laid out before Powell's eyes the carnage he had come to Israel to try to end.</p> <p>The meeting might be rescheduled for Sunday, a senior U.S. official said. Powell's spokesman indicated, however, that the secretary "expects a clear denunciation of terrorism" and of the new bombing in the meantime.</p>

<p>JERUSALEM — The Israeli army said Tuesday it has found a letter at Yasser Arafat's compound, written by a militant group to Arafat's chief financial officer requesting enough money to build up to nine bombs a week.</p> <p>The document details costs incurred by the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, a militia linked to Arafat's Fatah movement, and was found in the office of Fuad Shobaki, chief financial officer for the Palestinian Authority, said Israeli intelligence officer Col.
