Dana Nussell is the state attorney general who a couple of years ago announced she is no longer going to prosecute child predators. I thought that might cost her re-election in 2022, but ooops, I was wrong.
The diesel a few cars back accompanies every Union Pacific steam locomotive as a "back-up" in case a locomotive's water supply runs low. It's bad for a locomotive tank to run dry, and so if the water runs low, the diesel takes over. Tanks are replenished from small-town water reserves, after which the diesel is shut down and the steam locomotive takes over again. The diesel is never used to help the steam locomotive, which doesn't need help anyway, and which pulls the non-running diesel along with the rest of the train.
The Union Pacific operates this 4-8-8-4 and a 4-8-4 (which was never retired from active service) and after restoring its 4-6-6-4, donated it to a railway operation in Illinois.
Considering all the good work Dianne Feinstein has done for the Democrat party, and for Democrats individually, I think Dianne Feinstein has the right to be a Democrat Senator the rest of her life, is that’s what she wants.
To deny her that would once again betray the Democrats as ungrateful to those who’ve worked so hard for them, and anti-woman as well.
I’m not a fan of McCarthy but he has made the necessary concessions in writing and the Freedom Caucus group has offered no real alternative candidate. We have to get the Speakership in place or there will be growing pressure for the moderates to do what they did in PA and Ohio - team up with the Dems for a “unity” candidate and instead of a half a loaf, we will have nothing. And if that happens, there won’t be a single serious investigation into the bribery payments made to Hunter Biden, the incompetence of Mayorkas or any other conservative topic, period.
I don’t have any problem with it; in fact I hope it goes on more. It brings excitement to politics.
I’m tired of the dull predictability, where we already know who a presidential nominee will be, before the convention—and like in this case, the Speaker immediately as a new Congress is seated.
The uncertainty brings excitement—and I doubt it “holds up” “important” business of Congress.
This is all a bunch of nonsense. It’s most likely that Lee Harvey Oswald, acting alone, killed John Kennedy. If the Central Intelligence Agency, why not blame the U.S. Department of Agriculture too? I’m really tired of all these nutcase conspiracy theorists who’ve battered our eardrums the past sixty years.
