  • As a Jew, I Am Terrified About What America Has Become

American Jews created much of the problem that now rises up to threaten and possibly destroy them.

Specifically, I am referring to their overwhelming support for the Democrat party as well as well as continued support for various socialist and communist movements.

The Leftists despise Jews, even as they take their money and support. It is suicidal for Jews to continue in that direction. There is very little time left to change that direction and no safe place left in the world to run once the pogroms start up. The Leftists are sparking up the riots in universities that lead to that outcome. We have seen this movie before, and we are seeing a remake now. The plot has not changed much.

I guess that "Never Again" thing was just a slogan after all.

The American government clearly has turned to favor Muslims over Jews. It is a bad trade, but there it is. Ironic, because there are so many Jews in the Biden administration in influential positions. Perhaps they hope to be capos in the camps later on. Or maybe the last ones forced into the boxcars.

There is still time to change direction.

they’d have to be pretty damned poor performers for the IDF to retire them from deployment

And people who worked with those systems tell me that the Patriot system is exactly "a pretty dammed poor performer". Better than nothing. Too expensive to use against low-cost swarm attacks. Useless once you run out of missiles. Requires fixed emplacements which take a lot of time to move.

The Israelis make better stuff now on their own.

The requirements for air defenses have changed considerably from when the Patriot system was designed. Systems must be very mobile with almost zero spin-up time once stopped and activated, and systems must deal with large swarm attacks.

The balance of force favors the attacker right now.

  • Trump suggests when he might make VP pick as these four contenders reportedly emerge

Trump needs to pick a running mate who would bring in a significant number of electoral votes he would not otherwise have, without causing loss of any others.

I believe there is no such candidate, and never has been.

The choice of VP seems to have no real effect on actual voters come election day. It seems to have some effect on big-ticket campaign donors and on the backroom deals that can grease the rails for a Presidential candidate. I believe most of that effect is already in place, and the VP choice is thus irrelevant for such purposes.

And the poster known as "enumerated" in post #34 has it exactly right IMO.

"He needs a VP who the deep state hates even more than they hate him. Otherwise, they will kill him day one."

    Socialist garbage says what?

Our enemies are our greatest teachers.

    What they are teaching us:

Voting does not work (c.f. the 2020 "elections")

Voters do not matter. The people who count the votes matter. The people who can deliver 6-figure and 7-figure campaign donations matter. Try contacting your State or local representatives if you doubt this assertion.

The Courts do not matter nor do laws. (c.f. the current show trials of President Donald Trump. Also, see the lack of prosecution of Leftist "mostly peaceful protestors")

The "Law" is whatever Democrats say it is from week to week. More accurately, it is whatever their sponsors want it to be. Most politicians are merely paid actors on stage, reciting the scripts from their sponsors.

Riots work. Especially when they are indirectly funded by the Government via a complex network of "Non-Government-Organizations" (NGOs) and "Nonprofit" Organizations. Especially when police and courts are instructed to stand down in the face of rioters - err "mostly peaceful protestors".

Note that your "Right Wing Patriot Militias" never get those sorts of breaks. They are not included in the membership of the protected diversity classes.

The riots that are now sparking up are factional disputes among the Leftists who control the country right now. It is basically a system of "One riot, One Vote".

Violence works. The Mexican Cartels have demonstrated this in Arizona, California and Ohio. Possibly in Georgia as well.

These are all extremely unpleasant lessons to absorb. The "rules" have changed and the civil society we thought we grew up with is a fading memory. Something new is replacing it. That replacement process is most untidy.

    Plan accordingly.

the only poll that’s important is the one on election day.

I believe that 2020 "elections" showed us that no polls matter.

What matters is who does the counting.

They're just following Adam Smith's advice and having work done in those countries where the work can be done most efficiently and cost effectively.

They only want CHEAP and obedient labor. "Efficiency and cost effectiveness" are buzzwords to justify lowering the salaries.

The executives are strip-mining these companies and pocketing their piece off the top. Product quality and organizational performance invariably deteriorate until the companies are hollow shells and crash into dust. But by then the executives are long gone into other jobs, or a safe retirement.

No, we cannot have a first-world technology economy based on third-world labor and wages. Complex systems break down and cannot be restarted. The nice things go away.

I honestly don’t think anything can save Biden from defeat.

"We have put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics”, Biden said in a clip posted to Instagram Oct. 24, 2020.

Yes, he actually blurted out that exact statement.

Looks like that organization is still in place. The polls mean absolutely nothing.

    Fraudulent elections have consequences.

They don’t want equal opportunities; they want equal outcomes.

They most definitely do not want equal outcomes.

They want an impoverished peasantry completely dependent on the favor of the rulers and their selected minions for survival.

The "activists" all believe they will be members of the "selected minions" classes. They are gravely mistaken. Almost all of them will end up as members of the peasantry.

Taking money away from one guy and giving it to feckless useless government morons somehow increases the wealth of another guy?

No, but it sure does get the votes of the feckless, useless government morons. And if you object, then some of them will even join a rent-a-mob in front of your house to correct your unapproved opinion.

They are going to screw around until they have Jefferies for Speaker.

Which will be almost exactly the same as what we have now.

Democrats effectively are running the House. They will be less polite about that once Jeffries is the speaker. And they will kick all Republicans to the curb when it comes to passing out the loot. They don't need them anymore and don't want them hanging around.

No wonder so many Republicans are retiring from Congress. They are the smart ones, getting out while the getting is still good.

What a terrible story. This cannot stand.

It will stand until our current rulers are removed from their positions.

Outrage is not enough. The people who created these problems will continue to make more problems and they will never fix any of them. They don't even want to fix them. They must go.

Is he still in jail? If not, why not?

About 30 years should be enough. By then he will probably be dead in some prison fight. End of problem.

That lawsuit should be dismissed, and the lawyers involved should be sanctioned.

An illegal government program is bringing them in.

    This!

What the polls say and what the people want does not matter in the slightest way.

The rulers who own the government want immigration to replace the middle class with a compliant third-world peasantry.

That does not change unless the government is changed, and the rulers are removed from power.

Does anybody believe we can still do that by peaceful protests and more voting?

Why even getting bothered over this silly woman? She’s obviously mentally ill.

She is providing cover for people in the shadows who are much more capable and willing to do what she is explicitly threatening to do.

When it becomes socially acceptable to publicly threaten murder of public officials (and make those threats to their faces), the next inevitable "socially acceptable" step is to carry out those threats.

Most people have to work themselves up to perform acts of violence. They need cheerleaders to encourage them before they act.

Best to slap this down hard and early.

I side with defending Israel against Iran.

Those American warships are more likely to be used defending HAMAS against Israel.

I would be very cautious about cheering on any expansion of American forces in the region without explicit support of Congress and presumably from the American people.

At best the move by the executive branch is election posturing in an attempt to retain Jewish support for the Democrat party. Which is incompatible with Muslim support for the Democrat party. Would you care to place a bet on which side the Democrats will favor as the bloodshed ramps up again?

My assessment: The Democrats will side with the Muslims. The appearances of support for Israel are all lies. Democrats are really good at lying.

I do not want to see Americans shooting at Israelis. Or vice versa. I remember the USS Liberty fiasco all too well.

Then you take out the protection.

    I don't. Not me. I wasn't there. I dindoo nuffink.

[The preceding comment provided for the Federal contractors who follow these posts with such dedication. No, I did not just advocate or plan forcible resistance to the government. I would never do that. No siree Bob! I have a family, a house with a mortgage, and a good paying job. Not gonna risk all that! Nope! Nope! Nope!]

(As if laws still matter. I am sentimental that way.)

But somebody will do the obvious thing. I would bet the folks who get away with it will be from the Mexican cartels. Or other factions in the government who are on the losing end of some political conflict. They will set things up to blame members of a "Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy"(tm). That will work for the first few times. Then it won't.

Everybody is going to hate the new ways of doing things. Even the Federales will get sick of it. It will lead to collapse and anarchy. The Leftists will lose that civil war they are pressing towards with such joyful acticipation. I wonder what new system will be created in the aftermath.

And police and military members live among us.

For now, that is generally true.

The classic method of totalitarian regimes is to recruit police and military from foreign immigrant populations and use them to suppress rebellion in provinces far away from where they live. It is very effective.

This kind of staff replacement is already starting in many places and is well advanced in others. We may not be able to count on vulnerable police or military forces.

A key vulnerability is in the bureaucratic minions who pass the orders to the police and military and carry out those orders. As another poster remarked "Hitler, Stalin, and Mao Tse Tung never killed anybody. Their public servants did the killing".

Politicians and executives in the bureaucracy will generally be well protected by security forces, especially after a few involuntary term limitations. Their staff will not enjoy such protections. It will be possible for interested parties to reach out and touch them no matter how well protected their bosses may be. It is a crappy-looking pathway into a possible future. We won't like it very much. But it is the most likely pathway.

Without capable and willing minions, the bosses have no power to do anything.
