An April Kaplan Strategies poll has former President Donald Trump with a big lead over President Joe Biden in Michigan.
The poll has Trump leading Biden 51%-36% in a state that will be key to determining who wins the 2024 presidential election.
Biden beat Trump in the Great Lakes State by 2.8 points in 2020. In 2016, Trump defeated Hillary Clinton by just .23 points, 10,000 votes, the first time Michigan voted Republican since 1988.
Both sides have been campaigning aggressively in Michigan, with Trump recently hosting a rally in Freeland. Third-party candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. will also be on the ballot in Michigan and could draw support from both parties.
While the poll shows good news for Trump, it is almost certainly an outlier.
A poll conducted by The Hill/Emerson released April 30, has Trump up by 1 point, while a CBS News poll conducted last Sunday has Biden up two points. Most other polls show the race to be within a margin of error, with Trump on average leading 46%-44.8%, according to RealClear Politics.
FiveThirtyEight, a website that analyzes polls and pollsters, gives Kaplan Strategies a two-star rating out of three stars, with a transparency score of 2.4 out of 10.
Kaplan Strategies surveyed 804 people April 20-21 with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 points.
Quick! Charge Trump with more crimes! Donald Trump does pose a nexnelsrent, it’s not hypothetical!
This margin seems ludicrous, but I expect the 45th President to be very competitive in the Wolverine State come November.
But somehow just enough votes will come in at 4 AM in Detroit to give Biden a razor thin victory.
Wow. There’s a group of people in Michigan who won’t vote for Biden because they think he’s two pro-israel. Now, other people may think the opposite, but the important point here is that there are pockets of such voters in Michigan. That doesn’t explain all of Trump’s lead, but it definitely pads it.
Just as a reminder 4 years ago Biden was polling 50% to Trumps 45.8 in Michigan in the RCP average of all polls.
Final Results 2020 Biden 50.6 Trump 47.8
Trump was never ahead in the RCP average in Michigan in 2020.
This year though... for the last 7 months Trump has been ahead in Michigan in the RCP average and currently sits at 46% to Bidens 44.8.
So Trump is polling in Michigan almost exactly what he was in 2020 ~46% but Biden is polling almost 5 points lower.
even if the vote totals are higher than the states population Biden will win MI (and the race)
Vote like he has a chance, but know they will not let trump win.
nexnelsrent? That’s some Biden lingo right there.
They will come home to vote for the free money and abortions.
give them time.
Don’t worry, the vote-counting precincts of Detroit will overcome that.
They may need to lock their doors, cover their windows and shut-down public access for 7-10 days, but in the end, they’ll find the votes they need.
Doesn’t matter. Trump can poll at 100% vs Viden 0%, and the vote will still show thousands more ballots cast for the Biden human pretender and garbage pit. (And that total will also be thousands more than the registered voters...wonder why.)
Do 2016 results follow a similar trend?
My opinion is that the CIA has a vote shaving algorithm. If tallies show any Trump momentum, they will be shaved off and placed in the Biden (or anyone they choose to select) vote totals. It will be more subtle and harder to spot.
AT&T runs most the server relay stations for the CIA, FBI, and NSA. That's where it will be done in 2024, right in the servers.
Oh woe is us. No need to bother.
And yet, Biden will “win” Michigan by 40,000+ “votes”.
I love trump but no way is the lead that big
RCP average in 2016 Clinton 47.0 Trump 43.4
Trump was never ahead in the average in Michigan in 2016 either but managed to win.
Clinton 47% Trump 47.3 final vote totals
This year.. Trump has been AHEAD by several points for 6 months! So he is outperforming 2016 and 2020 in Michigan!
If Trump wins Michigan he only needs ONE of the following to win the electoral college (Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin or Pennsylvania)
Any of those 4 + Michigan = Trump victory.
Or just Pennsylvania alone.
Careful that we’re not being fed false information.
One cannot argue against what you said.
It’s already been shown Michigan polling stations have the ability to switch votes.
