This Sunday, August 2, George Stephanopoulos faces what could be a significant test for the former Democrat operative. Michelle Malkin, author of the best-selling new book, Culture of Corruption will take the seat opposite Stephanopoulos, someone who in his previous incarnation worked hard to destroy other critical-of-Democrat books. (Long-time readers may recall Stephanopoulos's efforts to destroy Gary Aldrich's "Unlimited Access," the hugely popular, highly critical-of-Clinton bestseller.) Given his history, many readers wonder what ambush Stephanopoulos may have in store for Malkin. Given Ms. Malkin's deft performance with other critical interviewers, such as her stunning appearance opposite The Today Show's liberal...

Something strange is happening in America. For the first time, a white man is standing up to a black man’s charge of racism. And he is being supported by his employer. In another first, the media coverage of this event is not employing the time worn premise that only whites can be racist. This incident may have gone the way of millions of others but for the fact that this professor was a friend of President Obama. Luckily for Henry Gates, the most powerful man in the world took time out [...]. The President then announced publicly that the Cambridge...

Are the people rejecting their saviour? Obama’s approval rating has slipped to below that of George “Dubya” Bush at the same stage in his presidency and this is causing some concern among right-thinking (by which, of course, I mean left-thinking) people. This is by no means the death of the dream that began in January – approval ratings slide up and down erratically – but it is at least an early intimation of mortality. For this is no ordinary presidency, this is the reign on earth of The One: his approval rating was intended to break the mould by rising...

Why are Americans disobeying President Obama? Because in the United States, most adults don’t think of themselves as helpless children, and we don’t regard out President as one to be “obeyed.” We entrust tremendous power to our President (although that power is not ultimate or without limits). We may admire, esteem, respect, and place our hopes in the office of the President, if not the occupant of the office. And we “follow” our President, however willingly or unwillingly, as he leads the nation over the course of time. But we don’t “obey.” In The United States, our President is one...

THE OTHER GATES FOUNDATION In 2005, Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr., known to all as "Skip," set up the nonprofit Inkwell Foundation, named after a famous beach/gathering place for African-Americans on Martha's Vineyard. Skip talked about the foundation in a recent interview with Martha's Vineyard magazine and touted it when he launched his for-profit business, AfricanDNA.com, last year. "The precedent-setting site is the only company in the field of genetic genealogy that will provide African Americans with family tree research in addition to DNA testing," its initial press release declared, adding that "a percentage of all profits will be...

As Rush Limbaugh said — soon after the last U.S. election, and not without some attendant controversy — we should hope for President Obama to fail. The Republican party establishment were more appalled than the Democrats. The latter were actually gloating. The new Obama administration decided that the mouthy and obstreperous Limbaugh would make an ideal sparring partner, and the new president’s outriders slung a few choice epithets his way, to help Rush with his ratings. Grateful and generous, Limbaugh slung a few back. It was all good theatre. At some point, it seems, Obama’s brain trust realized it wasn’t...

On 21 July 2009, Obama called a demand meeting with the so-called Blue Dog Democrats to “persuade” them to vote for his ObamaControl of the American People Health Crimes Bill. Note: “Blue Dog Democrat” is derived from the term “Yellow Dog Democrat.” Former Texas Democrat Rep. Note: For Obama to destroy this country, he knows full-well that he must destroy We-the-People. And, he is working hard to get all of the legislators he can to sell their souls to him for a nice ‘piece of the action’. Typically, the Blue Dog Democrats have been fiscally conservative and pro-life. But, no...

This didn't get much play in the media because this is one "outreach" item to Iran Obama would just as soon not be widely circulated; his release of 5 Revolutionary Guard commanders belonging to the elite Quds Force who planned dozens of attacks on Americans in Iraq and who George Bush refused to release. Andrew McCarthy in NRO has the sickening details: There are a few things you need to know about President Obama's shameful release on Thursday of the "Irbil Five" - Quds Force commanders from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) who were coordinating terrorist attacks in Iraq...

The Obama administration seems to have gotten just about everything wrong about the ouster of Honduran President Manuel Zelaya. Wrong on the law. Wrong on the politics. Wrong on the foreign policy. On the law, Miguel Estrada, the brilliant attorney whose nomination to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals was blocked by those who abhor a truly wise Latino conservative, actually has read the Honduran constitution. He finds that it specifies that it cannot be amended to change the limit on a single four-year term for the president. And it further provides that trying to amend the constitution “constitutes treason.”...

The mainstream media have been incredibly slow to pick up on a creepy comment by Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in a New York Times interview published today but flagged last week. In it, Ginsburg talks about on Roe v Wade, the 1973 ruling that legalised abortion: Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of. So that Roe was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding for abortion. What? You can find the full...

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Organization of American States is meeting in Washington to consider suspending Honduras' membership because of the military coup that ousted President Manuel Zelaya. The group's assistant secretary-general, Albert Ramdin, said Zelaya planned to attend Saturday's emergency meeting. Zelaya is expected to address foreign ministers Ramdin says the OAS does not regard the current Honduran government as legitimate — so it can't withdraw from the OAS. Ministers agreed Tuesday on a 72-hour ultimatum for the Honduran government to reinstate Zelaya or face an OAS suspension. But Honduras' interim president calls the OAS "a political organization, not a...

Last Saturday, Honduran soldiers marched into the presidential palace, bundled up President Manuel Zelaya and put him on a plane for Costa Rica. The ouster had been ordered by the Supreme Court and approved by the Congress, as Zelaya was attempting an illegal referendum to change the Honduran constitution so he could run for another term. Will someone please explain why this bloodless transfer of power to the civilian legislator first in line for the presidency, in a sovereign nation, is any business of the United Nations, the Organization of American States, Hugo Chavez, the Castro brothers or Barack Obama?...

Without the resolve of the soul of its people, July 4th, 2009 could be the last meaningful Independence Day for Americans. There can no longer be any doubt that the malcontent who sits in the Oval Office has malevolence at heart for all things America. President Barack Hussein Obama is, in essence singing from the same choir-book as Hugo Chavez, the Castro brothers, and even the evil and corrupt Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. In fact, it is Obama’s voice that can be heard singing the Swan Song of America the loudest. Today as main-street Americans muster the kind of spirit needed to...

The time for a nationwide protest against our “lawmakers” has come—I am no longer referring to them as our representatives as they have stopped representing We-the-People. The volume of calls placed on Friday to the US Capitol switchboard and our Congressional Reps again shut it down and voice mailboxes were full. The calls placed were reported to be 10-1 AGAINST Obama‘s and Pelosi’s plan to raise energy prices to we the consumers by at least 100% and in most cases 150-200%. Despite We-the-People (now We-the-Peons) telling the House of Representatives to vote “NO”, after reportedly being strong-armed and threatened by...

With as many as 20,000 people in attendance, the Atlanta Tea Party on April 15 was one of the largest and most successful Tea Parties in the country. The Atlanta Tea Party on July 4, 2009 had been expected to be just as large. Unfortunately, plans have changed. Simon Property Group has forced the cancellation of the Atlanta Tea Party. The Atlanta Tea Party was forced to cancel its Independence Day celebration in Gwinnett, after losing its location due to the objection of Gwinnett Place Mall (a Simon company.) The Tea Party had been scheduled to take place in the...

I'm wondering how long it will be before the word "impeachment" starts being bantered about? The list of reasons to expel Obama keeps getting longer and stronger, and this is only five months into his reign. Everyone knows about his inexperience. His rhetorical abilities made people overlook this weakness. Even his eligibility to have become president is becoming an issue. He places personal and party ideologies over what is best for America. I thought when appointing justices, it was supposed to be "the best person for the job" and "justice is blind." Affirmative-action policies and "empathy" aren't part of the...

Graphic video of an Iranian woman being shot dead while watching the Iran protests with her father is sweeping the net. While Iran state media is doing its best to put a muzzle on foreign media reporting on the violent revolution unfolding in Iran, American media is under no such constraint. Americans are treated to the news that Obama is eating an ice cream cone. As news of 20 deaths so far between protesters and police in the streets of Tehran is reported by Iran’s state media, American media reports that Hillary Clinton is recovering from surgery on her elbow....

thelastcrusade.org A man can have sex with animals such as sheep, cows, camels, and so on. However, he should kill the animal after orgasm. He should not sell the meat to the people in the village; however, the selling of meat to people in a neighboring village is permissible. --Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini Jimmy Carter has devolved from being America’s worst president to being America’s worst ex-president. The Ayatollah - - Carter’s misunderstood saint - - came to power and launched a bloodbath that resulted in the deaths of twenty-thousand pro-Western Iranians. Churches and synagogues were razed, cemeteries desecrated, and shrines...

"To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist." That piece of classic Obamaguff, unloaded during his presidential inauguration, has come home to haunt President Pantywaist, as a consequence of the Iranian election. Today Iran unclenched its fist - to slap President Pantywaist on the face. It seems, despite the chiding from Barack Obama, that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad feel quite comfortable on the wrong side...

Hail the return of mob rule under the weak leadership of Barack Hussein Obama, the great and anointed citizen organizer, who has no experience at all running anything but a group of cretins (ACORN, etc.) who are out to change America into their grand vision of abject socialism. That’s right, Obama’s mob, bought off by the Democrats with our money, have now elected their supreme emperor, to continue the great Democrat tradition of exploiting the naive and stupid among us, with promises of a socialist utopia, on the backs of American producers ..... you know, the responsible, self-reliant ones that...
