Two suggestions. 1) Airlift him by 'copter over the Chrysler Building, then drop and impale. Elegant, appropriate, methinks. 2) Death by Ebert. Airlift (we may need two 'copters here) the gifted critic and drop HIM onto the criminal. Not from so far as a height to hurt old Rog, but enough to rattle the fool who really believed that Bush's daughter would wear blue jeans to meet the Queen. Other suggestions welcome. Please keep clean (ha ha) and creative.

In the spirit of bipartisanship, let's heap some abuse on Alan Dershowitz on this inaugaral eve (keep it decent). I'll start: You slandering jerk! How dare you impugn five Supreme Court justices! You misogonistic heel!! Your two great passions over the last six years have been defending a throat slasher and now a rapist fondler groper!!! (done).

Is it not poetic justice that the curtain on the Clinton/Gore regime will be lowered by a solitary woman saying "enough!" What is slowly driving the Gore-ites mad is that there is nothing their slime machine can do about this.

Driving through Danbury, Ct. yesterday I saw two Presidential heliocopters flying overhead, preparing for Clinton's arrival for a fundraiser on Monday. I told my son that we should be respectful of the 'copters, because they represent the office, regardless of the person who's in it now. Anyway, I turned a corner and had to brake for a big ole' turkey crossing the road, and, well...my sense of poetic irony got the better of me (supply your own joke here:_________).

Tim Russert's showing of a Jay Leno clip this morning, one that joked about Mr. Cheney's heart attacks, was low even by NBC's "lets cross-sell our products anyway we can" standards. Cheney, to his credit, didn't play the usual faux humility game. He called Leno "thoughful," with much needed sarcasm. Whew.
