disenfranchised; dis-en-fran-chized : a state resulting from being too damn lazy, uneducated, and impatient to adhere to the established voting process. Term usually employed by whiny, panty-waist liberals when an election doesn't go their way.

    (Was that my out-loud voice?)

Commie traitor bitch, now in her fourth decade of disgracing America.

I don't usually wish harm on anyone but the most loathsome scum in this world. Hanoi Jane is on the cusp and leaning toward most-favored status though.

On second thought - I do wish she would just die a horrible, painful death for the harm she's done to our Nation and especially our servicemembers.

    Die bitch - die!

Yeah....and if you go right back to MY posting, you'll see the part about "...time on this Earth near its end..." and also the underlying point of MY stating what I would want, as expressed in MY will....

I understand what HER will states. I also understand the horrible difficulty (leaving the financial part out of the equation) in seeing a loved one being kept alive purely for the sake of not wanting them to die. Sadly, she will die eventually, as will everyone.

My point of the whole thing is that I do not want to be kept around artificially for the sake of being kept around just because it's possible to do so. You can either agree or disagree - matters very little - it's MY point and MY choice.

Since when did it become so wrong on this site to lead into a personal statement with thoughts on an issue examining the difficulty of its entirety?

I guess our "counterparts" on the other side of humanity are not the only ones who can be blinded by subjectivity. It appears that many of us, probably myself included, can stand a little sunlight.

To TigersEye: I know where you're going with this, but if you can't understand the basic premise of my posting, then objectivity might be a trait to work on.

To JanetteS: YOU give ME a break. All I was doing was looking at an issue with a little bit of objectivity that I mentioned above. I can see my way clear to understanding someone like you blatantly chastizing someone like me for expressing my thoughts - whether or not you have the ability reciprocate is on you.

    Good day to you both.

These cases are pretty tough. As much as I respect life, I still find myself questioning the logic of prolonging a life, (that really is not much of a life - rather a mere existence) while possibly racking up huge medical debt for the family.

It's a tough line to draw, and I hope I never have to do it. How do you reconcile a situation when it becomes apparent that someone's condition of existence will NEVER improve, and/or their time on this Earth is very, very near its end?

For me, it comes down to this (in MY living will): When my condition is such that cognitive brain/neurological function ceases to exist to the point where I cannot provide for MY OWN sustainance - I wish to be removed from artificial/external life-prolonging procedures.

I call it common sense. I guess that's a personal concept though.

Having been to several Best Buy stores in Maryland and knowing the caliber of dumbass clerks usually infesting the place - this surprises me very little.

They are usually the "Look at me, world!!!" type of idiot you can almost always hear long before you see them.

    You probably get the picture....

I'd ALMOST say I'm surprised that the cops fall into the same idiot gaggle....but then again - we ARE talking about Maryland here.

"Fox News reported yesterday that the body of the Pope had been embalmed...do you have a source that stated differently?"

Ironically, yes - FOX reported on Monday or Tuesday that his body was NOT going to be embalmed. Other agencies reported the same. I hadn't heard of the change - thanks.

With all due respect to the deceased Pontif....I don't think I'd really want to see his body since he was allegedly not embalmed.

Death is never a good site (except for dead terrorist scum), but a four-day, unpreserved body just cannot be pleasant.

"Nassau Long Island officials are seizing the property (cars, homes, bank accounts) of people with unpaid traffic tickets. Question: does this set a dangerous precedent?"

Yes - it does....for the kinds of POS, self-absorbed jackasses who cannot accept responsibility for their actions.

That kind of "dangerous precedent"...I can live with.

I watched her interview last night, as painful as it was to watch CBS, and I didn't detect a bit of remorse. In fact, she defended her actions saying that by broadcasting to the pilots to stop the bombing, she wasn't actually trying to get them to defy orders...merely getting them to think about their actions. WTF?!?!?!

She said she was actually engaged trying to "speak to Nixon for eight years..." to end the bombing.

Let me see if I have this straight: we left Viet-Nam in 1973; Nixon took office in 1969. NOPE! I don't see eight years there.

What this traitor bitch actually meant was that she and her Commie-sympathizing idealogues couldn't come to grips with the fact that Viet-Nam was Kennedy and Johnson's war, and they needed a Republican scapegoat to hang it all on.

Say what you mean, bitch -- and get your damned facts straight while you're at it!

Oh....and just F*** OFF AND DIE!

Thanks - good to know people care.

I'm PCSing to Ft. Hood, TX in May. (Back to God's Country!)

I'll be back in Iraq by December.

Looking forward to another trip over there to git 'er done!

Isn't it such an amazing concept that we, in the U.S., have men and women who actually volunteer to project our Nation's might to safeguard our citizens?

To hear the sarandon/robbins/penn/streisand band of idiots - you'd think we were drafted.

I'll actually be here for the 7th - but I'll have to work. (I travel a lot in my job.) The last FReep I did was in October when the pinkoes had their mock funeral procession at Arlington Nat'l Cemetary.

I put my foot down when traitors desecrate the resting place of fallen heroes to further their vile and backward agenda.

I'll be FReeping in spirit, heart, and soul on the 7th though!

I rode to Bike Week the last time in 2000 at Myrtle Beach. During the "regular Bike Week", you'll have your predicatable incidences of drinking, some violence, some drugs. Usually not too terribly bad - and it's HUGE!

However, during "black bike week" - according to the locals, the place is a total cesspool of trash, more wrecks, way too much speeding and recklessness, more drugs.....with far fewer bikes/"bikers".

    I'm not saying there's a correlation....

Most black bikers I know (several) go to plain old "Bike Week" and they have no problems as long as they don't cause them.
