MEMO TO TED CRUZ: Senator Cruz, throughout your entire campaign you have stated repeatedly: "The American people know that I will do exactly what I say I will do." Well, Mr. Cruz, my question for you is: WHAT ABOUT THE PLEDGE? You're breaking your word on that so you will break your word on anything else you choose to. I once thought you were the Messiah to the GOP, but in the past month or so I have come to see you as just another lying, sleazy, scumbag politician.
  • Delay: DOJ will stall if FBI recommends Hillary Indictment

The Justice Department would stall any prosecution of Hillary Clinton until after the presidential election should the FBI recommend she be indicted for using a private email server as secretary of state, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay tells Newsmax TV. "If the FBI recommends an indictment, the attorney general will appoint a special prosecutor. That gets this case all the way through the election," DeLay, a Texas Republican, said Monday on "The Steve Malzberg Show." "That's what I think is going to happen [It would be for] stalling purposes. That's how you get it past the election."

After the real estate billionaire retweeted an unflattering photo of Heidi Cruz last week and amid fears the Trump campaign was behind Friday's National Enquirer article alleging Ted Cruz engaged in affairs with multiple women, New York Post columnist Fredric U. Dicker writes: "Everyone has been waiting for months for Donald to become more presidential, and unfortunately, he appears to be going in the opposite direction," Dicker says "one of Trump's most prominent New York supporters" told the paper. "We understood in the early days when he was trying to differentiate himself from the rest of the pack of candidates...

Hillary excoriated Ted Cruz for suggesting that Muslim neighborhoods need surveillance in light of the fact that many "sleeper cell" terrorists arise from their neighborhoods. The pandering, politically correct Hillary gave her sanctimonious spiel denouncing such a thought. Well, someone needs to ask this of Hillary: Why is it ok to surveil Black neighborhoods for possible drug traffickers but NOT ok to surveil Muslim neighborhoods for possible terrorists? Sounds racist to me. Hillary doesn't mind siccing the cops on po' Black folk in da 'hood, but leave the Muslims alone.

One of the wealthiest and most influential Republican donors in the country is throwing his support to Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, a decision that could swing millions of dollars in contributions behind Mr. Rubio. The decision by the donor, Paul Singer, a billionaire New York investor, is a signal victory for Mr. Rubio in his battle with his rival Jeb Bush for the affections of major Republican patrons and the party’s business wing. It comes as a major blow to Mr. Bush, who is seeing his once vigorous campaign imperiled by doubts among supporters, and whose early dominance of...

  • Poll: Fiorina rockets to number 2 behind Trump in GOP Field

Carly Fiorina has rocketed into second place in the Republican presidential field on the heels another strong debate and Donald Trump has lost some support, a new national CNN/ORC poll shows. The survey, conducted the three days after 23 million people tuned in to Wednesday night's GOP debate on CNN, shows that Trump is still the party's front-runner with 24% support. That, though, is an 8 percentage point decrease from earlier in the month when a similar poll had him at 32%.

I stood up for Kim Davis, the County Clerk in Kentucky who went to jail for her "faith" for refusing to issue Marriage Licenses to same-sex couples. However, I'm sure everyone knows by now that Kim Davis announced that she is a life-long Democrat. What's up with that? She spends her entire life supporting a Party, and politicians, who propagate Homo marriages AND killing little unborn babies in the womb; now she gets all "holy". That is hypocrisy in the highest form.

Chris Christie says he's thinking of taking a more aggressive approach during the next Republican presidential primary debate. During an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Monday night, the New Jersey governor and presidential candidate told Fallon that he's considering going "nuclear" if he's relegated to the sidelines during the next GOP face-off, which will be moderated by CNN later this month. Christie's return to late-night TV comes as he's been struggling to gain momentum in the crowded Republican field in the summer polls. During the interview, Fallon, who often jokes about Christie during his monologue, pressed the...

For all of the talk of spectacle and sideshow surrounding the 143 or so Republican candidates running for President — much of it deserved — there’s even better drama over on the other side. Hidden beneath video footage of helicopter rides and fried butter at the Iowa State Fair is this stark reality: The Democratic party is in deep trouble. Sure, the GOP has Donald Trump to contend with, for who knows how long, but if he crashes and burns there’s a field of credible contenders as big as a Trump golf course, ready to carry on with the serious...

At his "Rally for Religious Liberty," Friday night in Iowa, a crowd of over 2,500 men, women and young children turned out for the three-plus hour event. Upon arrival at the venue, guests received Ted Cruz Pocket Constitutions, Cruz stickers, mini-American flags emblazoned with "Courageous Conservatives for Cruz," bracelets reading "Marriage = 1 man + 1 woman," and, for younger attendees, Ted Cruz coloring books. Cards and pens were placed on the seat of every chair to sign up attendees to commit to caucus for Cruz, a vital step in campaign organizing here in Iowa. Cruz spoke about his experience...

The ongoing din over Hillary Clinton’s use of private email server during her tenure as Secretary of State has grown so loud that Democratic Party stalwarts have begun to openly wonder whether she will even be their nominee next year, something unthinkable just a few short months ago. The unease was on full display Sunday, with California Gov. Jerry Brown, himself a former White House hopeful whose name has been floated more than once to enter the 2016 race, said he wasn’t sure if Clinton would be the party’s standard-bearer. “I've been around politics long enough to know things are...

Jeff Greenfield has a thoughtful piece in Politico dealing with President Obama’s political legacy, and how the party he leads has gone precipitously downhill since he took office. When you move from policy to politics, the task is a lot simpler—just measure the clout of the president’s party when he took office and when he left it. By that measure, Obama’s six years have been terrible. Under Obama, the party started strong. “When Obama was elected in 2008, Democrats were at a high water mark,” says David Axelrod, who served as one of Obama’s top strategists. “Driven by antipathy to...

WASHINGTON (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden left the seclusion of the Delaware home where he's been weighing a presidential run to meet Saturday with Elizabeth Warren — another influential Democrat who has faced calls to enter the 2016 race. Biden's meeting with Warren was the latest sign that the vice president is seriously considering entering the race, and that he's increasingly discussing it with Democratic leaders outside of his small cadre of longtime advisers. A rising star in the party, Warren was the subject of an intense lobbying campaign by a group called Draft Warren that sought to persuade...
  • Breaking: Trump Likely to be Banned from Future Republican Debates

This report should make Donald Trump supporters angry! While taxpayers are often funding political debates, the Republican Party has the ultimate say over its own events. And while the GOP is supposed to stand for the principles of the Founding Fathers, it can be manipulated by the political establishment which can’t stand Trump’s conservative views. The real reason why the GOP is focusing on Trump’s threat to run as a 3rd party candidate is it would give them grounds to boot him from future debates. The Republican Party, to protect its interests, is probably willing to boot the front-runner candidate....
  • The 14th Amendment Doesn't Grant Citizenship to Babies of Illegal Aliens

The 14th Amendment does not grant birthright citizenship to everyone born in the United States. In order to assume that it does, a person has to actually ignore what it says. The Supreme Court set the precedent of birthright citizenship by misinterpreting the 14th Amendment. Poor education about our history and government ensures that We the People never get uppity over this unconstitutional misinterpretation. The purpose of the 14th Amendment was to give citizenship to former slaves who were in the United States through no fault of their own. The 14th Amendment was ratified in 1868. If it granted citizenship...

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump defended Planned Parenthood during an interview Tuesday night, doubling down on his remarks that part of the group should be funded. “They do good things,” Trump said during an interview with Sean Hannity that aired on Fox News. “There's two Planned Parenthoods, in a way. You have it as an abortion clinic. Now that's actually a fairly small part of what they do, but it’s a brutal part and I'm totally against it,” Trump said. “They also, however, service women,” Trump said, adding later, “We have to help women. A lot of women are helped....

The New York Times reported that 3 of the other leading candidates considered boycotting this debate if Trump were there. Having studied the ballot access rule in 15 states, maybe it's 19, the Republican establishment can keep you off the ballot with the stroke of a pen, or in this case, not including your name. So, he said over and over on the stump if he's given a fair shot, if he has a level playing field, if the establishment doesn't gang up on him. Of course he wants to run as a Republican! He's the frontrunner for the Republican...

REP. TREY GOWDY: Every explanation Secretary Clinton has provided about a week later was proven to be demonstrably false. This is just the latest one of those assertions that there was no classified info. I saw the clip this morning. She was very definitive – she neither sent or received classified information. Well, that is patently false. What I’m primarily concerned with is whether or not I'm going to have access to records that I need to do the job that the House asked me to do... If she were interested in cooperation she wouldn't have done any of the...
