My husband did Indian Guides with our two boys for years, then Scouts with both of them through Eagle. Then he participated in Indian Princesses with our younger daughter. I remember after they stopped doing it, the programs merged into Indian programs. I just looked it up and they still have parent/child programs - it looks like they call them Y-Guides.
For those folks interested in Disney, many of my friends with Disney passes have taken advantage of the reduced attendance ahead of the storm to get out there. Apparently that is a thing - get to Disney right before a hurricane. I never knew.
I live in Orange County right next to Orlando (Winter Park.) Schools are closed tomorrow and Wednesday. It has been suggested we have everything done and be “in place” by tonight. We have had one squall line go through today. How bad it gets depends on what this storm decides to do. Some people have boarded up, but most have not.
If good internet is important to you, Hamilton County (TN-Chattanooga area) has the best. They included the fiber optic lines when they upgraded their electrical grid. Another benefit of their system, according to my daughter, is that they rarely if ever have a power outage.
We are trying to be close to children and grandchildren in the East Ridge area of Chattanooga, so Ringgold, GA is good. We plan to help with homeschooling and such, otherwise, Alabama would be a real consideration.
