SALMON, Idaho (Reuters) - Police in Idaho Falls have told a man to stop wearing a bunny suit in public after people complained he has been frightening children. Residents in the northwestern U.S. city of 54,000 people also reported William Falkingham, 34, occasionally wears a tutu with the bunny suit, police said in a statement on Tuesday. Police warned Falkingham after a woman said she saw him dressed in the costume, peeking at her young son from behind a tree and pointing his finger like a gun.

Sen. John Kerry's visit to Kennedy Space Center during the 2004 presidential campaign violated the law, according to a federal watchdog agency. NASA allowed Kerry to conduct a political stump speech and rally at the space center and broadcasted it to KSC employees, and the latter part violates the law, the Office of Special Counsel ruled, according to Local 6 News partner Florida Today.

Here's a photo from last night's Olympic opening ceremonies. Was that John Kerry leading the charge? You be the judge.

Visiting with U.S. troops in Baghdad on Thursday, failed presidential candidate John Kerry trashed Commander-in-chief George Bush for making "horrendous judgments" and "unbelievable blunders" that have undermined the war effort. In a series of demoralizing comments first reported by the San Francisco Chronicle, the defeated Democrat griped, "What is sad about what's happening here now is that so much of it is a process of catching up from the enormous miscalculations and wrong judgments made in the beginning." Kerry said that because of the Bush administration's mistakes, "the job has been made enormously harder." Among the errors cited by the...

I think that John Kerry is getting a raw deal in this election cycle, especially now that he's getting screwed by Dan Rather, too. So, to show my solidarity with the Senator from Massachusetts, today I have put away my pajamas and donned a NASA "bunny suit" while blogging.

In the careful crafting of public image, Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry has worked overtime portraying himself as a macho man. There have been photographs of the senator looking lean and toned in a wet suit. He has been immortalized wearing the daredevil attire of snowboarders. He has tooled along the campaign trail in a beaten-up motorcycle jacket. He paraded before the cameras in a barn jacket and toting a shotgun. On the tarmac, he tosses footballs in a shirt and tie, suggesting that the uniform of the civilized Western man can barely contain his inner athlete. And every five...

NASA insists there was no "dirty trick" behind a photo of John Kerry in a protective spacesuit, which is being compared to the unflattering image that helped tank another Massachusetts Democratic presidential nominee in 1988. Sen. John Kerry (NASA photo) The senator's campaign aides allege the pictures were not supposed to be released publicly, but NASA spokesman Bill Johnson says that's not true, reports Florida Today. Johnson claims the campaign asked that processing of images of the up-close tour of the Discovery space shuttle Monday be expedited so reporters could have them. Also, government photographers routinely snap pictures of visiting...

NASA sources are now saying that NASA's General Counsel ordered the images removed - not the U.S. Office of Special Counsel. Luckily, you can download the original pictures here: 1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|9| Just as [they] think this silly story is going away some bureaucrat finds a way to breathe new life back into it.

What a remarkable day today is going to be. You and I are going to have the great pleasure of watching John Kerry stand before America and lay out his plans for leading our country in a new, more promising direction. And then, we're going to have the awesome responsibility of carrying his vision of a stronger America to the White House. To get him there, John Kerry needs a strong, united Democratic Party behind him. That's why I'm asking you to make as generous a gift as possible right now to the Democratic Party, which is fighting side by...

Boston (CNSNews.com) - A day after Democrat presidential candidate John Kerry's campaign accused NASA of releasing an embarrassing "bunny suit" photo, Republicans seized on the opportunity to comment on the story - and photo - in the wake of Tuesday's allegation. "It appears as if the Kerry campaign is attacking NASA," said Sen. Mitch McConnell, a Kentucky Republican. "It was Kerry's decision to go visit there. They obviously posed for the photograph, and now they're attacking NASA because the photograph is released. That pretty well sums up the nature of the Kerry campaign." Photos of Kerry in the blue "bunny...

CAPE CANAVERAL-- There was no "dirty trick" behind the photographs of Sen. John Kerry wearing the blue anti-contamination suit while touring the shuttle Discovery on Monday.

Not true, said NASA. Government photographers routinely snap pictures of visiting dignitaries.

Kerry's group more than qualified as dignitaries: four U.S. senators, two of whom were former astronauts, John Glenn and Bill Nelson. NASA often posts such pictures on its Internet sites for the public and reporters.
