Robert Malley, a top Middle East advisor that US President-elect Barack Obama promised months ago would play no role in his administration due to ties to Hamas, has reportedly been sent out on the next administration's first diplomatic mission. According to a report in Middle East Newsline, Obama dispatched Malley to Egypt and Syria late last week with a message that the he intends to mend and bolster relations with both nations, and to give greater weight to their concerns regarding regional conflicts than did President George W. Bush. During the Democratic Party primaries, Obama was lashed by critics for...

Is Zbigniew Brzezinski OK with Iran developing nuclear weapons? Sounds that way. On Morning Joe today, Jimmy Carter's former national security adviser had some advice for President Obama: tell Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu that America will not go to war against Iran. Attacking Iran's nuclear facilities would surely be an act of war. Yet doing so might well be the only way to prevent the ayatollahs from getting the A-bomb. Unfortunately, neither Joe Scarborough nor anyone else on the panel including daughter Mika asked Brzezinski flat out whether he would encourage America to stand by while Iran got nukes. But...

Time to connect the dots, again. Treehouse Research – Going Deep. While attending Occidental University, 1979 – 81′, young Barack Obama meets a former Jimmy Carter administration official Zbigniew Brzezinski. Brzezinski is a key CIA asset and expert on Russia. He later becomes a mentor, and then much later a foreign policy advisor to President Elect Obama. Obama is friends with three Pakistani college roommates, muslims, Mohammed Hasan Chandio, Wahid Hamid, and Indian Vinai Thummalapally. In the summer of 1981 Obama travelled with his friends to Pakistan. Brezinski was deeply involved in the U.S. aspects to support Osama Bin Laden...

Well, it's December 21st. And we're still here. So far. But the day is not over yet. Should we be worried? Whenever there is a subject about which we are not sure, we know there is one place we can turn where we can find out the answers. And that is, to the World's Foremost Authority, the reigning DUmmie Of The Year . . . yes, Know-it-all Nadin Brzezinski. Nadin knows Mayan calendars. Heck, what is there that she DOESN'T know? The DUmmies, amid all their threads about gun control and the fiscal cliff, have spent some time noting...

Sounding less like a supposed foreign policy expert and more like someone who's been listening to way too much late, late night left-wing radio, Zbigniew Brzezinski claimed to see the outlines of a "conspiracy" in the making of the anti-Mohammed movie trailer. Saying "it's not an issue of freedom of speech entirely," Jimmy Carter's former National Security Adviser suggested on Morning Joe today that the makers of the movie could be held "liable" for the deaths of the US Ambassador to Libya and three other Americans. He recommended that the United States should "investigate and crack down" on "evil forces"...

This is a plan that the leader of Hezbollah, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, mentioned in a Sy Hersh article back in 2007. A plan that involves the persistent metamorphosis of the region into mini states, and micro states — among the various ethic and religious factions. A plan that is often attributed to Zbigniew Brzezinski (the intellectual godfather of this strategy). In 2007 Nasrallah told Seymour Hersh that the American plan was, “the drawing of a new map for the region.” Nasrallah believed that this stratagem would leave Israel surrounded, by a host of small and tranquil countries. He said that...

Why are the college records, of a 51-year-old President of the United States, so important to keep secret? I think I know the answer. If anyone should have questions about Obama’s record at Columbia University, it’s me. We both graduated (according to Obama) Columbia University, Class of ’83. We were both (according to Obama) Pre-Law and Political Science majors. And I thought I knew most everyone at Columbia. I certainly thought I’d heard of all of my fellow Political Science majors. But not Obama (or as he was known then- Barry Soetoro). I never met him. Never saw him. Never...

Zbigniew Brzezinski, former National Security Adviser to President Jimmy Carter, graded Obama’s foreign policy performance “somewhere between B-plus and A-minus,” lauding his achievements with Chinese and Russian relations but criticizing his failure to move forward on the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. “It would be higher if he had moved more decisively on the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, because he had a chance to do so. But admittedly, he was overwhelmed by domestic problems,” he said on CBS’s Face the Nation.

CNN) - A former national security adviser to President Jimmy Carter on Thursday sharply criticized the GOP presidential candidates' positions and rhetoric on foreign policy as "embarrassing, humiliating and dangerous."

President Obama got high praise from Jimmy Carter former national security adviser on his comprehension of foreign policy. Still, Zbigniew Brzezinski had some words of caution for the current commander in chief about his meeting next week with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying Obama let himself be “humiliated” last time Bibi visited. “Prior to the elections, they’ll be tempted to strike,” Brzezinski said of Israeli action toward Iran’s nuclear program on CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS” Sunday. “And this is why I think the president, when he talks on to Netanyahu on March 5th, might take into account the fact...

The United States can no longer reign supreme as the world’s sole superpower, says Zbigniew Brzezinski, President Jimmy Carter’s National Security adviser and a prolific foreign affairs scholar. “The era of global supremacy by a major power . . . is over,” he tells Yahoo. “The world is now much more diversified. There is now the new East in Asia. There is now a globally, politically awakened population.” But that doesn’t mean the demise of the United States, as long as we’re willing to make some changes, Brzezinski, says. “We have to accustomize ourselves to that world. If we want...

This Salon headline will bring agreement from many anti-Semites who believe the Jews (or Zionists) control the world. Zbig: Israelis “bought influence”and outmaneuvered Obama By Zbig, the author is talking about, Zbigniew Brzezinski, national security adviser for Jimmy Carter, famous for helping to create the Taliban, inventing anti-Israel conspiracy theories, and spewing anti-Semitic rhetoric. Salon did a phone interview with the former national security adviser from his office at The Center for Strategic and International Studies, The George Soros-created progressive foreign policy think tank. The purpose of the interview was for Brzezinski to “pimp” his new book

I’m quite sure Brzezinski and Obama’s views on Israel are in complete alignment. (Salon) — Zbigniew Brzezinski’s new book, “Strategic Vision,” imagines a world without American power. He envisions profound instability, faltering international cooperation and weak states falling prey to their more dominant neighbors. Describing the dystopia that would emerge if America goes under is a trick British historian Niall Ferguson pioneered. Unlike the jingoistic Ferguson, however, Brzezinski is able to envision China replacing America as the stabilizing force in world affairs. “I don’t think liberal states are more restrained or stabilizing,” he says. “The United States’ actions in the...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Here's Boone Pickens. He was on MSNBC this morning on Scarborough's show. They had a discussion about Obama's speech. Scarborough said, "You have a question about the president's speech? What's your question about it?" PICKENS: The president is confusing me. Every time he's on TV he says that the rich should pay their fair share. I don't know what "fair share" is. That's what's bothering me. I always want to be fair, and historically I've been a very fair guy. I'm 83. I still go to work in the morning at eight o'clock. I have 150 people...

Social Justice: The former national security adviser wants to compile a list of the evil rich who don't spend their money as the left wants. It comes with the ultimate threat: We know where you live. Dr. Zbigniew Brzezinski, national security adviser to America's worst ex-president, Jimmy Carter, has something for the angry mobs of Occupy Wall Street (OWS) to do once they're done trashing New York City's environment and demanding that those who, as Jefferson Starship sang, "built this city" pay off their student loans and otherwise support them. They can make house calls on the rich. On Monday,...

Zbiginew Brzezinski, national security adviser under Jimmy Carter, told the "Morning Joe" program he thinks the names of the rich "should be known publicly" so the masses can "pressure some of those people to give some of it back to society." "You know, how many Americans are really fully aware of how many other good people, that’s like Warren Buffett and others, who really donate a lot of their earnings to charities, to philanthropy?" Mr. Brzezinski said. "But how many more are there in the hedge funds? In the banks? In a variety of other places who on the basis...

When I began watching my DVR recording of Morning Joe today, I was of course wondering which clip from yesterday's Weiner press conference Morning Joe had chosen to open the show. When instead a clip of Jon Stewart mocking Sarah Palin appeared, I literally wondered if I was playing the recording of the wrong day's Morning Joe. But as the first half-hour unfolded, it became obvious that Morning Joe had made a conscious decision to black out any mention of Weiner-gate during today's first half-hour. Following are excerpts from a statement by Mufti of Oman Ahmad Muhammad Al-Khalili, which aired on Al-Jazeera Network TV on April 27, 2011I: Muhammad Al-Khalili: After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Gorbachev gave an interview on a British TV channel, and he was asked: "Can Communism survive in Vietnam and China?" He said: "No. Communism is dead, so it cannot survive." He was asked: "What is the alternative?" He said: "I don't believe that the alternative is capitalism, socialism, or democracy. The alternative is a different order. We have to adapt to a new civilization." That day, I asked...

In Obama's speech today on his tax plan, he mentioned that he would not be here without his scholarship. Does anyone know what scholarship he received and for which college? This is the first I heard of it.

Emphasizing that all but one of the top 30 income earners in the United States are white males, Mika Brzezinski clamored that it is time for the wealthy to pay their fair share and help solve the budget crisis on Monday's "Morning Joe."Co-host Joe Scarborough and liberal New York Times columnist Charles Blow were in the midst of a debate about cutting entitlement spending when Mika chimed in. After Scarborough argued that making cuts to middle-class entitlements is necessary for the country's fiscal health, Brzezinski quipped that the rich should be contributing more to solve the budget deficit.
