  • Mark Levin accurately describes Kelly Ayotte as a “dimwit”

Mark Levin on recent comments by Bob Goodlatte, Kelly Ayotte and Cathy McMorris-Rodgers signaling GOP leadership intends to push forward on amnesty… "What is it with these idiots!?" The much-maligned “status quo” is immeasurably preferable to granting eventual voting rights to 40 million of the least-educated, most anti-gun, most pro-big government parasites that Mexico has to offer.

Rick Perry Takes A Victory Lap After Texas Takes Toyota From California Hunter Walker April 28, 2014, 5:04 PM ï‚™ Texas Gov. Rick Perry thinks Texas' "employer-friendly combination of low taxes, fair courts, smart regulations, and world-class workforce" are responsible for Toyota's decision to move its sales headquarters from California to the Lone Star State. "Over the past decade, Texas and Toyota have developed a strong partnership that has resulted in good-paying jobs for thousands of Texans," Perry said in a statement about the automakers move Monday. "Toyota understands that TexasÂ’ employer-friendly combination of low taxes, fair courts, smart regulations...

The Jr. Senator from NH was on the Howie Carr show as TMEW and I went out to do some errands right after supper tonight. We missed the beginning of her segment but it was clear that people were switching from talking about Obamacare to illegal aliens, immigration, and Amnesty. And they were not happy! And I really don’t think that Kelly Ayotte was all that happy about having to defend her Kerry-esque monster flip-flop on this issue as she had campaigned for really being against amnesty.

It wasn't personal, they say - the students just didn't want to share their big day with the First Lady and deal with the security headaches that hosting a big name speaker would entail. More than 1,750 of them had signed a petition protesting Obama's appearance at the graduation ceremony because security concerns would have limited the number of friends and family they could invite. Via The Hill: Instead of delivering a graduation speech, Obama will speak before the school district the day before graduation, and will deliver remarks at a "Senior Recognition Day." *** In a statement to The...
  • Air Tanker Base opens to combat Brown Fire

SIERRA VISTA — The Forest Service’s Air Tanker Base operations opened earlier than its planned May 10 date, albeit it is currently operating out of the Sierra Vista Municipal Airport, not from Fort Huachuca’s Libby Army Airfield. Gilbert Gil, Coronado National Forests Sierra Vista Ranger District Air Tanker Base manager, said the Army is planning to make repairs to some of the area on the post which support aircraft operations for the Forest Service, requiring the need to move the functions to the city’s airport. Tuesday morning the site on the civilian side of the airfield was busy as three...

Democrats have called Scott Brown a carpetbagger and suggested the former Massachusetts senator is going to stick out in New Hampshire like a flamingo in the White Mountains. But the unusual demographics of this state might blunt that attack and help Brown resurrect his political fortunes on fresh territory. Contrary to the popular stereotype of the New Hampshire voter as a flinty, 10th-generation farmer who traces his roots to a soldier in the Continental Army, about two-thirds of New Hampshire adults were born in another state — and a quarter of them were born in Massachusetts. Even in an era...

One common thread of his long political career is his allegiance to the far-left wing of his party. Evidence of his extremism can be found in the absurd leniency he seems to show the state’s most violent criminals. Since reclaiming the governorship three years ago, almost 1,400 prisoners serving life sentences were released back into the population. While about eight in 10 of these convicts were convicted of murder, rapists and kidnappers are also among those granted freedom based on Brown’s recommendation. For the sake of comparison, former California Gov. Gray Davis, who held office for roughly the same amount of time...

--- snip --- On the stump Friday, Kashkari did not mention his main GOP rival, Assemblyman Tim Donnelly of Twin Peaks, and said he has never met him. He reserved his fire for Brown, who he said is dishonest about the magnitude of California's fiscal problems and is taking false credit for repairing state finances. Brown, Kashkari said, has failed to tackle California's greatest financial problem: paying for public pensions. "I think Gov. Brown is an honorable man; he's a man who comes from wealth.... He's chosen a life of service. I admire him for that," Kashkari said. But "he...

With the new year comes new insane laws from California, making it officially America's Sanctuary State -- treating illegal aliens who broke the law to enter the U.S. as well as law-abiding citizens, protecting illegals from deportation, and putting public safety at grave risk. In October, California Gov. Jerry Brown (D), signed eight bills handing special rights to illegal aliens. The controversial legislation includes allowing illegal alien obtain driver's licenses, preventing employers from denying jobs based on "immigration status", and barring state and local law enforcement from detaining illegal aliens when directed by ICE, DHS or Border Patrol. The legislation claims that...

It is that time of year to evaluate your life, to examine behaviors, and to determine how to make the next year better. Today's commentary shows us how Planned Parenthood plans to spend its next year – and future years. Are you committed to making the world a better place or to merely watching what happens in the world? How will you resolve to act this coming year? FILTHY: obscene, vile, impure, indecent, lascivious, lewd, pornographic, raunchy, vulgar In other words, not a very nice wish for the new year. But that is exactly what Planned Parenthood is offering our...

  • Jerry Brown, urged to run for president, won't rule out 2016 bid

If he weren’t the nation’s oldest governor, a ripe 75, Jerry Brown would automatically be counted among serious Democratic candidates for president in 2016. He boasts a household name, an impressive list of accomplishments in the country’s most populous state — a state some once deemed ungovernable — glowing national media coverage and a deep familiarity with the pitfalls and rigors of a White House bid, having run three times before.

It is a sad moment in history when a government calls upon a lone woman to testify about contraception and attempts to tell the country she is representative of women. Where is the person they asked to testify about morality and about the sanctity of life? This deliberate attempt to alter morality and to squash the words and will of our Lord is becoming rampant today and the results are sickening. We must make our voices heard or this will not just be a fluke; it will be the norm. Sandra Fluke was once a law student at Georgetown University....

t's a perfect political storm: President Obama's popularity is down, voters are angry over his unpopular health care law, and Republicans are energized and excited about voting. Just the conditions a minority party like the Massachusetts GOP needs to pick up a governorship and send a couple of Republicans to Congress. Only one problem. I'm not writing about 2014. I'm writing about 2010. And while the Republican tide swept over nearly the entire country, it stopped dead at the border of Massachusetts. Voters re-elected Gov. Patrick and sent every member of Congress back to DC. The Republican candidate for state...

When New York City's strikingly successful police commissioner, Raymond Kelly, arrived to address students at Brown University, he was harassed, booed and heckled for 30 long minutes. "Racism is not for debate," they shouted. A university official pleaded with the goons, er, students to permit Kelly to speak, reminding them that they would be free to express disagreement during the Q-and-A session afterwards. "Shout him down!" responded a man in the audience, and the crowd did. Episodes like this are tolerated in America because college faculties, administrators and the press almost uniformly share the students' prejudices and haven't the spine...
