With the ‘Russian collusion’ case against the Trump administration all but dead, the mainstream media has shifted their full attention to now building an obstruction of justice case against the White House. As such, CNN hosted Kenneth Starr, the independent counsel appointed in the 90’s to look into various Clinton scandals, including the Vince Foster death and Monica Lewinsky episode, this morning to get his thoughts on the topic. CNN: “Do you think there is a case there?” Starr: “It’s too soon to tell. From what I’ve seen — and of course we don’t know a whole lot — the...

Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly said his country is willing to offer former FBI Director James Comey political asylum if he is prosecuted in the U.S. for leaking his memos on his private conversations with President Trump. According to a translation by RT, a Russian-controlled television network, Putin said Comey's leaks put him "in a vulnerable position." He compared the former FBI director to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, who currently has asylum in Russia. Comey, like Snowden, acted as an "activist," Putin said.

The special counsel overseeing the investigation into Russia’s role in the 2016 election is interviewing senior intelligence officials as part of a widening probe that now includes an examination of whether President Trump attempted to obstruct justice, officials said. The move by Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III to investigate Trump’s own conduct marks a major turning point in the nearly year-old FBI investigation, which until recently focused on Russian meddling during the presidential campaign and on whether there was any coordination between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin. Investigators have also been looking for any evidence of possible financial...

CNN sister network TNT will be sponsoring the final two performances this weekend of the Trump assassination play Shakespeare in the Park production of Julius Caesar by the Public Theater in New York City’s Central Park. The cable network is using the sponsorship of the graphic assassination of President Donald Trump on stage to promote a new series about Shakespeare, Will, scheduled to premiere on July 10. The announcement follows the recent loss of sponsorships and controversy surrounding the Oskar Eustis-helmed production, which depicts Caesar as a Trump-like politician.

Listening to Fox News, the gun the shooter used has been identified as an SKS with 7.62 X 39 ammo, with a scope, and called a "high powered rifle." Of course an SKS is not high powered, or particularly accurate....but the ignorance, fear, and bias of the Media--even on Fox--is already coming out--to pound the drum against the 2nd Amendment.

The Huffington Post -- home of some notably hateful rants, like the ex-Washington Post writer who said unlike George W. Bush, "You could argue that even the world’s worst fascist dictators at least meant well" -- has a line contributors can cross. On Sunday night, it was the notion of executing President Trump for treason...and a cast of accessories including Steve Bannon, Kellyanne Fitzpatrick, the Vice President, the Senate Majority Leader, and the Speaker of the House! The unhinged HuffPost contributor was Jason Fuller, who proclaims he opposes "extremism" in politics: "I live in a small American town and work...

Hodgkinson from Belleville, Illinois, was killed by Capitol Police after firing up to 100 rounds from an assault rifle at a baseball park in Alexandria, Virginia, leaving four injured including House Majority Leader Steve Scalise. Hodgkinson was a staunch Bernie Sanders supporter and campaigned for the left-wing senator to get the Democratic nomination for president last year. The union tradesman, threatened to 'destroy' the president and his administration on social media. He was shot...

Shortly after the shooting Wednesday morning at a congressional baseball practice, Rep. Mark Walker (R-N.C.) told NBC News that it appeared the "gunman was there to kill as many Republican members as possible." Walker, who was at the practice for the upcoming annual congressional baseball game in Alexandria, Virginia, confirmed he was "shaken but okay." Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) recounted an "odd" encounter he had as he was leaving the field just minutes before the shooting: "There was a guy that walked up to us that was asking whether it was Republicans or Democrats out there, and it was just...

There were some 15-20 members of Congress at the practice. Scalise was playing second base for the Republican team and was taking infield when the shooting began. The shooter was reportedly firing from the fence line of the baseball park in Alexandria, near the third base line, lending the potential that Scalise may have been specifically targeted. Rep. Trent Kelly, who was playing third base, and Rep. Gary Palmer, who was at shortstop, were closer to the shooter than Scalise was. A Scalise aide and a Capitol Police officer were reportedly also hit, the Scalise aide in the chest and...
