SALEM, Ore. -- The Oregon Department of Justice is opening a criminal investigation into allegations that senior officials in the state's alcohol regulatory agency violated ethics laws by diverting rare, sought-after bourbons for personal use, the state attorney general said Friday. BARDSTOWN, Ky. — A building collapse at the Barton 1792 distillery in Bardstown sent thousands of bourbon barrels crashing to the ground. Bardstown fire officials said the collapse happened at Barton 1792 after 11 a.m. Friday.
