Republicans haven’t quite settled on a mayoral candidate yet, but they do seem to have ruled one person out: Bo Dietl. Dietl’s longshot bid to be the party’s nominee despite not being a registered member of it would require an OK from three of the five county Republican committees — but the five party leaders spoke by phone on Saturday, a conversation which included “no support for Mr. Dietl,” Queens GOP Chair and former congressman Bob Turner said Wednesday as he endorsed Republican Paul Massey.

Dietl, speaking Tuesday evening on Fox News, revealed the NYPD had a special nickname for Sharpton after the current MSNBC host became an informant: BO DIETL: There was a lot of involvement with the music industry at that time that Al was involved in....

"Hundreds" of al Qaida operatives based in Afghanistan gained sanctuary in Iraq and Iran after the Taliban fell in Dec. 2001, according to legendary New York City detective-turned-international security expert Bo Dietl. Dietl first revealed the startling tidbit on Don Imus's Monday morning radio broadcast, sourcing an active duty Navy Seal who told him that U.S. Special Forces had tracked "hundreds of al Qaida who had fled to Iraq." We tracked Dietl down a few hours later and he elaborated on what the unnamed Navy Seal said. "He starts to tell me about how, right after 9/11, they took them...

Legendary former New York City homicide detective "Bo" Dietl said Saturday that he was "shocked" by reports that Sen. John Kerry participated in a 1971 Kansas City meeting of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War where a plot to assassinate seven U.S. senators was considered. "I was shocked listening to the story," Dietl told WABC Radio's Monica Crowley, who had just broadcast an update by the reporter who broke the news last week, the New York Sun's Thomas Lipscomb. "I like John very, very much as a person," said Dietl, who's a personal friend of the Massachusetts Democrat. "But if...
