A Baltimore County police officer was fatally shot in Perry Hall Monday afternoon during a traffic stop. Police said the shooting happened in a residential neighborhood near Belair and Klausmier roads, after the officer responded about a suspicious vehicles in the unit-block of Linwen Way. The officer, who would have been a 4-year veteran in July, was shot in the head just after 2 p.m. and was taken to Medstar Franklin Square hospital nearby where she was pronounced dead at 2:50 p.m.

Columbus police are investigating after two Westerville police officers were shot and killed Saturday afternoon. It happened around 11:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Crosswind Drive in Westerville. According to a press release, a call came into the Westerville 911 center as a hang-up. Responding officers were fired upon during their arrival at the address. Officer Jonathon McCoy Gave Nearly 30 Commands Before Firing Kettering, Ohio – Kettering Police officer Jonathon McCoy gave about 30 commands to the occupants of a car he pulled over before firing nine shots and killing a felon who had a gun sticking out of his pants.
