Life comes at you fast in the Trump administration. A day after warning Syria, Russia, and the world that missiles "will be coming," President Trump clarified Thursday that he didn't say when. "Could be very soon or not so soon at all!" And this was only a week after the president said he wanted to pull U.S. troops out of Syria completely. Amidst all this chaos, however, one thing remains a constant: Despite electing an "America First" president who has at least episodically expressed skepticism of foreign interventionism, it is awfully hard to press antiwar arguments in the Donald's Washington.

Appearing on this evening’s Hardball, Rep. Karen Bass, a Democrat and leader of the Congressional Black Caucus, twice accused Republican Senators Tom Cotton and David Perdue of “flat-out lying” by saying that they didn’t hear President Trump refer to various countries as “s—holes.” Bass then took things an ugly step further, insinuating that President Trump might have bribed the two senators in some way. Said Bass: “I think that they’re flat-out lying. And maybe they’re getting something from the President for it.” Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

Conquer yourself first — then the unkindness of others won’t conquer you Many lessons my boyhood best friend and mentor Jaybird taught me seemed foolish at the time, but along with me they matured, and now serve as guideposts in my life. One of those lessons was about kindness. Jaybird believed that no act of kindness, however small, is wasted. Even so, the old black man sometimes displayed a less-than-kindly nature when the actions of others angered him, but if I was close by he did his best to respond in a civil manner.

No need to quit your job to start. Just begin laying the groundwork for a more prosperous future in your spare time. Would an extra $500 a month change your financial future? That is definitely possible. In fact, you could earn a lot more per month as a blogger. Once you are in a position to commit full-time to your blog, you can rise up to the $5000 per month income level. That and much more is also possible. Being your own boss means you get to choose your salary.

Cal State Fullerton Students for Quality Education (SQE) are calling for a “hate Speech” investigation into an Instagram parody allegedly mocking SQE, “Latinx” students, and Cinco de Mayo, according to a report in the Daily Titan. In a bold move, College Republicans President Chris Boyle acknowledged his members are behind the parody account @RealSQE but offered no apologies.

Its something most Americans don't think of... They don't realize that the government that rules their state and municipality is danger to them. Many don't realize the need to fear government. In fact many Americans today, thanks in part to brainwashing by public schools, revisionist history, pop culture and other things welcome bigger and more powerful government. The government is worshiped by liberals and many mainstream Americans have been conned into worshiping this false idol, whether or not they know it. For many hapless victims, they find out too late to do anything to stop the government from robbing...

As Ted Cruz-mania skyrockets exciting millions http://bit.ly/1SHWzWW, I still get emails from professed Christians ripping me to shreds for choosing Cruz over Trump. These anti-Cruz Christians dig deep, coming up with reasons so weak not to choose Cruz that they equal saying Ted Cruz took another kid’s candy when he was seven. Then, they fall back on rehashing Cruz’s eligibility. http://bit.ly/22nhGD6 Frankly, anti-Cruz Christians have me scratching my head. Clearly, these Christians are willing to overlook all of Mr Trump’s shortcomings, anti-Christian political positions http://bit.ly/23mAGaI and liberal leanings. http://bit.ly/1LUzCxd Meanwhile, they “passionately” leave no stone unturned, relentless in their attempts...

As we previously reported Ted Cruz is trying to steal the election using delegates to over ride the will of the people. This is something he claimed he wouldn’t do and something the majority of people disagree with. The majority wants the party to unite behind Trump even if he doesn’t reach 1,237 delegates. The majority does not want Cruz and his establishment allies subverting the will of the people by way of delegates. The Colorado GOP tweeted this after the big steal. They have since deleted it and now claim they were hacked. It should be noted however that...

Senator Ted Cruz has been called Lyin’ Ted Cruz, by his campaign opponents due to the frequency of his telling outright lies. The frequency of falsehood is so excessive Politifact actually did a story about 90 random Cruz assertions which were checked and only 6% of his statements are actually TRUE, only 16% had SOME TRUTH. Yesterday Senator Cruz appeared on Fox News Sunday (full video here) and was caught in several more lies to add to his abysmal record. .... http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/03/28/senator-ted-cruz-caught-blatantly-lying-on-fox-news-sunday/

Facebook What do you do when you are snubbed by Ted Cruz? You go work for the anti-Cruz and attempt to ruin him and his wife evidently. Katrina Pierson has proven she will stop at nothing to get herself into the spotlight. Where once I thought she was a smart, sassy woman who had pulled herself up by her bootstraps, I now pity the bizarre, plastic caricature she has become. This is not the Katrina Pierson I knew. -snip- Though much ado has been made about the affair rumor being cooked up by Marco Rubio's folks, I would suggest...

How long has Congress been mulling over some sort of amnesty plan for illegal immigrants? A long time, certainly under several presidents, whether it’s called “amnesty” or whether euphemisms are used to substitute for the word. But there’s a reason Congress hasn’t done much about it in a long time, and that’s because the American people don’t want it and Congress is at least somewhat responsive to the people, despite the fact that many politicians and those who give them money are more interested in amnesty than the general public is. Presidents have understand that, too, and have also understood...

While the country has become more liberal in some ways, the Republican Party has moved to the extreme right, and the Democratic Party has filled in the vacuum in the middle by also moving to the right on many issues. As a consequence, many people who previously considered themselves in the middle are finding that the current views of the left are closer to their views. Thomas Ricks, who wrote Fiasco, and excellent look at the Iraq War, described why he moved to the left at Politico: Disappointment in the American government over the last 10 years. Our wars in...

Desecration: A U.S. flag with the president's face replacing the field of stars resurfaces at the March on Washington's 50th anniversary, turning the symbol of freedom many have fought and died for into a campaign prop. It has been a while since President Obama accepted his first nomination among faux Greek columns in Denver in 2008. But judging from the reappearance of the "Obama flag" at a march celebrating Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" speech, the cult of personality that has risen around him has not been diminished or discouraged. That flag first appeared in March 2012...

The horrific crash of a 747-400 at Bagram (here) has yet to be fully investigated and claims are already being made that it was a stall caused by a loose cargo that caused tail of the aircraft to drop and the nose to rise depriving the wings of lift. Maybe. The Bagram 747 crash has many similarities to the even more horrific crash of AWACS flight Yukla-27, (here) which was caused by the aircraft striking at least two Canada Geese in the Runway Kill Zone (RKZ) as discussed on an earlier post on this blog (here). Terrorists familiar with the...

Heard from family members in Astoria, NY. They're seeing a HUGE turnout at the polls. Wait times of 45 minutes to 1.5 hrs or more in line. These are the biggest lines they've EVER seen when voting (over 30 year span)! This is the kind of passion and enthusiasm we've seen from Romney voters, not the Obama "fear and revenge" crew. It looks like New York may be in play after all. Keep praying America, keep praying!

He claims to have a copy of one of Obama’s final exam questions from his U of C class on constitutional law: I have a copy of one of his final exams. It is a long hypothetical involving civil rights, which begins thus: “In part, Hardsville’s racial isolation is the result of white flight and the limited economic means at the disposal of the black community. It is also well documented, however, that Hardsville’s racial isolation arose in part due to decisions by a white-controlled city government prior to the seventies that were purposely discriminatory.”
