The day of the funeral for a 5-year-old Omaha girl killed by a stray bullet, a national organization declared that Nebraska has the highest black homicide rate in the nation. The statistics that the Washington D.C.-based Violence Prevention Center analyzed do not include the Jan. 15 killing of Payton Benson. A 24-year-old man punched a man in the nose in a possible “knockout” attack in lower Manhattan Wednesday, and was caught minutes later, police said. Laval Woods of Harlem is charged with felony assault in the 2 p.m. incident for allegedly sneaking up behind the victim, who is 74, on Fulton St. and hitting him. Police are turning to the public to find the man who punched a woman as she was dropping her daughter off at dance practice in Los Gatos on Monday. Police released a sketch Friday of the suspect. They said he was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a backwards white baseball cap when he attacked the woman for no apparent reason. A new study released Monday found that nearly half of all black males and almost 40 percent of white males are arrested by the time they are 23-years old. The analysis of national data from 1997 to 2008 of teenagers and young adults’ arrest histories — excluding traffic violations — were published Monday in the journal of Crime & Delinquency. While there was variation in the rate of arrest between black and white men, there was little racial variation in the arrest rates among women of different races.

In Ithaca New York, last Saturday night four black females jumped a white female in a racially driven attack. One of the black attackers took out a razor blade and cut the victim so badly she needed 47 stitches to her face. The cut runs from her hairline to her chin. Four black female suspects were arrested. However, post-attack the story worsens. The media has completely censored the crime; and even the local media will not report on the attack due to the horrific nature of the crime cast against the sensitivity toward what the crime represents.

A 20-year-old allegedly went to the Indianapolis home of his former boss during the middle of the day and murdered the man's wife and daughter after getting fired from his job, court documents claim. NEWARK — Nearly a week after 30-year-old Hoboken lawyer Dustin Friedland was gunned down in a deadly carjacking while returning to his vehicle in an upper level parking deck of the Mall at Short Hills, police this morning arrested four men on charges of murder.
