One of the nation's largest neo-Nazi groups appears to have an unlikely new leader: a black activist who has vowed to dismantle it. Court documents filed Thursday suggest James Hart Stern wants to use his new position as director and president of the National Socialist Movement to undermine the Detroit-based group's defense against a lawsuit. BlacKkKlansman director Spike Lee lectured Americans during the 2019 Academy Awards on Sunday evening, suggesting voters must reject President Trump in next year’s presidential election. While accepting his award for Best Adapted Screenplay for “BlacKkKlansman,” Lee said Americans must “all mobilize” for the 2020 presidential election to “all be on the right side of history.”

Spike Lee, the famed director whose “BlacKkKlansman,” was up for a best picture award at the Oscars on Sunday night, reportedly attempted to storm out of the Dolby Theatre after it was announced that “Green Book” won the award. Star Wars” actor Adam Driver is bringing his northern Indiana hometown’s hate group history to light after saying Ku Klux Klan rallies were frequent during his childhood and that some of his neighbors were Klan members.
