Judicial Watch has filed a lawsuit against the DOJ for records on Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton’s meeting on the tarmac at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. According to Judicial Watch: (Washington DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Department of Justice for records related to the meeting held between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in 2016 (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:17-cv-00421)). Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit after the agency failed to respond to a...

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says it possesses a “limited amount” of 9mm bullets for agents in the field as well as for training purposes, and it is rationing its ammunition based on internal requests until it can award a new contract. [ ] The apparent role poor planning, or another agenda, played in the issue came to light when ICE said it would have run out of 9mm ammo by June 2017 in the absence of a modified contract with its supplier, Vista Outdoor Inc. So, the agency last month approved a $363,307 ceiling increase to contract No. HSCEMS-11-D-00002....

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A Republican-backed election law bill is drawing criticism for a provision that says local police might visit people’s homes to verify they are legally eligible to vote. “This is a very hard thing for the League of Women Voters to watch, an attempt to change voting laws based on unsubstantiated claims and fears of widespread voter fraud,” Liz Tentarelli, president of the league’s New Hampshire chapter, testified Tuesday during a public hearing on the Senate bill. The bill aims to put stricter scrutiny on people who register to vote on Election Day or within 30 days...

President Barack Obama signed the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act bill into law yesterday after the U.S. Senate voted for an extension of the President George W. Bush-era spy bill 73-23. The FISA bill gives the government clearance to tap into American citizens’ communications with people outside of the U.S. without a warrant, so long as it is done in the name of collecting foreign intelligence. Obama has previously stated his approval of the bill, saying that the U.S. needs such measures when dealing with national security. More specifically, it means that government entities such as the National Security Agency are...

Remember back when the Clinton email investigation was in progress, and the FBI Director James Comey found Clinton not guilty…she had no intent to break the law while using her home server to distribute classified information? Remember how we had to just take it and accept the ruling, when all along we knew it was a lie. We did take it, as we had no choice. Now we are looking at a much less benign situation with Jeff Sessions having several insignificant meetings with the Russian Ambassador, but it is being blown way out of proportion by the Democrats. They...

Trump’s global gag rule is seen as an attack to health care for women across the globe. It basically blocks U.S. funds to organizations involved in abortion advice and care in other countries. I hate to be critical of helping other countries, but we have to help ourselves for a change. We are suffering here, too! We have those who cannot help themselves here, too, and it is getting worse all the time.

Here is the best (and weirdest) example of cognitive dissonance you will ever see. The set-up is that Bill Nye, an engineer by training, and a proponent of science, is defending climate science on Tucker's show. The first weird thing is that Bill Nye starts by talking about cognitive dissonance being the only reason that anyone would be skeptical of global warming. But he seems to not understand the concept of cognitive dissonance because he believes only the other side could be experiencing it. The nature of cognitive dissonance is that you don't know you're in it when you're in...

An Arkansas Conservative lawmaker wants to strip Clintons’ name from the Arkansas airport. It thrills me to see Hillary getting back a little of what she has given President Trump. It also is nice to see someone recognize the fact that the Clintons are not respectable…they are common criminals. “You have a president who was impeached for having an affair with an intern in the Oval Office and then disbarred,” said state Sen. Jason Rapert, the bill’s author and one of the Arkansas legislature’s most outspoken conservatives.

Homeschooling families throughout the nation are voicing opposition to a Republican-sponsored school choice bill that they say will ultimately result in regulation of homeschooling in the United States. Many parents who homeschool their children, as well as their numerous local and national homeschooling organizations, are protesting the bill, introduced by Iowa Rep. Steve King (R), and calling upon the members of Congress who are its sponsors to “leave homeschooling families alone.” School vouchers created by H.R. 610, the Choices in Education Act of 2017, “would be a slippery slope toward more federal involvement and control in homeschooling,” asserts William Estrada,...

comics artist Bill Sienkiewicz may have come up with the oddest form of protest: he’s offering a free character sketch to anyone who shakes Trump’s hand on camera and yanks the president off balance.... Sienkiewicz suggests that the Secret Service would “piss their pants” laughing at the handshake prank... UPDATE: It appears that Sienkiewicz has deleted his post, perhaps realizing that it was potentially encouraging people to assault the president of the United States. No word on whether Sienkiewicz will still honor the offer.

Remainers had hoped it would be the night when they finally made a dent in Theresa May’s Brexit plans as they put forward a bewildering array of new clauses and amendments to the Article 50 bill. Nine proposals in all, ranging from the rights of EU migrants to the opinions of the Gibraltar Government, were put to the vote, and one by one all nine proposals were thrown out by MPs. It was a flawless night for Theresa May, as the EU (Notification of Withdrawal) Bill was passed by 494 votes to 122 in its original, unamended form.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is trying a new strategy in her front-running bid for the Democratic presidential nomination, telling voters in Iowa that she plans to simply ignore her Republican front-runner counterpart. At a question-and-answer session at an event in Cedar Rapids, Clinton was asked about the New York billionaire's claim over the weekend that she and President Barack Obama were responsible for the rise of the Islamic State terror army through their mismanagement of the Mideast. 'I've adopted a New Year's resolution,' Clinton said in response. 'I'm going to let him live in his alternate reality. I'm...

Nearly a third of retirees are playing chicken with one of the steepest tax penalties out there — and they are running out of time. IRS rules on so-called required minimum distributions generally kick in once you reach age 70½. For 401(k)s and other defined contribution plans, it's either when you turn 70½. or you retire, whichever is later. If you've inherited an IRA, you might also be subject to RMDs, even if your own retirement is years away. How much you need to take is usually based on the account balance at the end of the previous year, and...

NDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Gun rights advocates view the upcoming legislative session as their best bet to get rid of an Indiana law that requires a license to carry handguns.

The controversial legislation didn’t advance during the 2016 session, but supporters believe this time could be different after sweeping Republican wins on Election Day and the appointment of Republican state Rep. Ben Smaltz to the House Public Policy Committee, which acts as a gatekeeper on such bills.

It was uncharacteristically chilly as I headed for Tim Kaine’s Tucson “get out the vote” rally Thursday afternoon. I expected 10 or 20 people since it was raining and Kaine’s last rally had 30 but wondered about a leaked email I’d recently seen from the Arizona DNC asking loyal Arizona Democrats to host out of state activists in their homes. While the activists were here doing their dirty work, would they take some time off to balloon Kaine’s rally population? Perhaps so because there were hundreds of rally attendees. I was late due to unavoidable circumstances and it was 15...
