EXCLUSIVE: A GOP lawmaker on the House Oversight Committee is calling for Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., to be punished by Congress for helping Hunter Biden on Wednesday morning. Swalwell had reserved a spot outside the Senate side of the U.S. Capitol where Hunter Biden later made a brief statement to the press before skipping a planned deposition by the House Oversight Committee. "Nobody gets to do that," Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., told Fox News Digital of Hunter Biden's deliberate absence. "He was sent subpoenas. He was told to appear." "We're going to vote to hold him in contempt. We probably...

The Department of Justice is well aware that the Proud Boys who attended the Stop the Steal rally on January 6 were not violent and did not conspire to enter the Capitol—yet are prosecuting them on conspiracy charges anyway, FBI documents obtained by Gateway Pundit reveal. Five members of the group are currently in pre-trial detention on federal charges: Enrique Tarrio, Joseph Biggs, Ethan Nordean, Dominic Pezzola and Zachary Rehl. A whistleblower leaked “a treasure trove” of exculpatory documents, and text messages—some marked “Highly Sensitive”—to the Gateway Pundit reporter Cara Castronuova. “These documents would be buried forever and never see...

On January 6, 2021, the former Infowars reporter traveled from his home in Florida to work security at several planned pro-Trump events in Washington DC that week. Biggs and the Proud Boys were in DC to protect innocent Trump supporters and civilians while police looked the other way. The Proud Boys has done this for years as Antifa terrorized and burned down cities across America. Biggs was filmed walking into the US Capitol building for a few minutes as police officers held the doors open. When he walked out, a friend told him he was looking for his son who...

WASHINGTON — At least four members of the far-right Proud Boys organization were found guilty Thursday of seditious conspiracy in connection with the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Enrique Tarrio, Joseph Biggs, Ethan Nordean and Zachary Rehl each faced nine counts, and were found guilty on the rare charge of seditious conspiracy under a Civil War-era statute. They were also found guilty of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding. The jury has only reached a partial verdict, U.S. District Judge Timothy J. Kelly said Thursday, and the verdicts on other charges are still being read.

The latest "Rich States, Poor States" report from the American Legislative Exchange Council shows that Republican-led red states are in better economic condition than Democrat-led blue states. Co-author Steven Moore called the data "powerful evidence that the low tax, light regulation states are outperforming the high tax, heavy regulation states. It should surprise no one that folks are migrating out of the blue states and into the red states." Presidential Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre didn't dispute the statistics, but called the trend "unfair and dis-unifying. The President is appalled that some states prey upon the population of other states by...

Townhall Media/Madeline LeesmanOn Friday, the GOP-led House passed a Parents Bill of Rights despite Democrat opposition to it. The bill passed narrowly — 213 to 208 — with a handful of Republicans voting against it and no Democrats voting in favor of it. The Bill is designed to promote transparency by requiring school districts to publicly post curricula, including lists of books and other reading material that will be made available to students. Friday morning, ahead of the vote, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) expressed his support for the legislation on Twitter. The House is about to vote on H.R....

An attorney for one of the leading members of the right-wing Proud Boys group said on Thursday that they need assistance from the Justice Department to subpoena former President Trump in their ongoing seditious conspiracy trial, according to multiple reports. Norm Pattis, the attorney for Proud Boys member Joseph Biggs, said in court on Thursday that they need the government’s assistance to serve the subpoena due to the presence of Secret Service, according to the Washington Post. “At all times relevant, Trump was president of the United States, and it’s the government’s obligation to produce him,” Pattis said, per the...

Former President Donald Trump has backed House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) in his bid for speaker while saying that McCarthy’s opponents should fall in line. “I support McCarthy,” Trump told Breitbart News on Dec. 15. “Look, I think this: Kevin has worked very hard,” Trump added. “He is just—it’s been exhausting. If you think, he’s been all over. I think he deserves the shot. Hopefully, he’s going to be very strong and going to be very good and he’s going to do what everybody wants.” McCarthy, 57, has been in the House GOP leadership since 2009, during his second...

Republican leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on Wednesday made it clear that the forthcoming GOP majority in the U.S. House will hold the Biden administration and Democrats accountable from “day one” — from investigating the origins of the Chinese coronavirus to the Department of Justice targeting concerned parents to the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. “You deserve to know the origins of COVID. You deserve to know why the DOJ went after concerned parents. You deserve to know why we failed to keep American lives safe in Afghanistan. On day one a Republican majority will begin holding this administration accountable,” McCarthy...

It is time. It is time for new leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives. People are thrilled that Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s reign of Leftist extremism is ending. The question is whether we will be treated to the status quo that will move us along the same path, though perhaps more slowly.

Two House conservatives are calling on President Trump to “immediately withdraw" all troops from Afghanistan and Iraq, arguing the country needs to stop engaging in “endless wars.” In a letter sent to President Trump on Tuesday, House Freedom Caucus Chairman Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) and Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) said keeping a military presence in the region could mean a loss of power for the U.S. “Throughout your entire presidency, you have worked tirelessly to Make America Great Again. We are confident you will repeat this feat again after this pandemic. However, the United States will not remain a great power for...

Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs on Monday introduced a measure that would censure Rep. Maxine Waters and ask her to resign for inciting people to publicly confront Trump administration officials. Biggs told The Hill that Waters’ comments do “not become somebody who’s in Congress” and warrant disciplinary action. “So we just introduced it, we have some cosponsors, but what she did was to basically incite people to come after and attack members of the president’s cabinet,” the Arizona Republican told The Hill. “And also spread that out to more people.” “Everybody agrees that it was just highly objectionable what she did,”...

The fallout from Jason Biggs' misogynistic Tweets against the wives of the GOP presidential ticket reached a Mile High pitch today. The Colorado Rockies had planned to hold a "Nickelodeon Day" at Denver's Coors Field Sept. 23. That didn't sit well with some Colorado residents who were aghast that Biggs, who voices Leonardo in the upcoming Nickelodeon show "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," would say demeaning things about both Ann Romney and Janna Ryan. The Rockies franchise initially refused to bend to public pressure. Today, the baseball team listened to its fan base.
