One of the Obama administration’s signature efforts in education, which pumped billions of federal dollars into overhauling the nation’s worst schools, failed to produce meaningful results, according to a federal analysis. Test scores, graduation rates and college enrollment were no different in schools that received money through the School Improvement Grants program — the largest federal investment ever targeted to failing schools — than in schools that did not.

I've had some time to compile a few observations post-Inaugural, and I thought to collect them here: Point number one: The left, via the Soros/DNC Conglomerate, has embarked on the new era of blast-faxed talking points. On 1/20/2017, that talking point was "Trump Is Just Like Hitler".Here are JUST FOUR examples of a highly-coordinated meme emerging from the Soros/DNC Conglomerate: Pope warns against populism and 'saviours' like Hitler Maddow: Trump’s Speech ‘Militant,’ ‘Dark,’ ‘America First Has ‘Dark Echoes’ of Anti-Semitism ABC News’ Terry Moran: Trump Inauguration Speech Had ‘Anti-Semitic Overtones’ Matthews: Trump’s Speech What Putin Has Been Saying, ‘America First’...

Hillary Clinton has just a few hours left to secure a pardon from President Obama. After that, she takes her chances with whatever the mercurial Donald Trump has in store for her. Obama has pardoned or commuted the sentences of more than 1,000 people — in fact, he’s the most forgiving president in history. And while Hillary has until noon Friday to get a pardon for any crimes she may have committed, Obama as of noon Wednesday does not intend to pardon Madame Secretary. Why not? One reason: He probably doesn’t like her very much. The two were opponents for...

A pair of B-2 "stealth" bombers blasted two ISIS training camps in Libya on Wednesday evening, dropping 108 precision-guided bombs and sending jihadists scattering -- many of whom were then "cleaned up" by drone-launched hellfire missiles, U.S. defense officials told Fox News. The assault killed an estimated 85 terrorists at the camps, which were about 30 miles southwest of the Libyan coastal city of Sirte. President Obama authorized the action. Most of the terrorists targeted had escaped Sirte after extensive military actions there. U.S. drones "cleaned up" the operation by launching hellfire missiles that killed a several of ISIS fighters...

Nail-biter: Two days left. Maureen Faulkner's heart hasn't been completely shattered yet. Tick tick tick tick tick . . . He’s already stuck a knife in Israel’s back. He’s already turned his back on Cuban refugees. He’s in the process as we speak of burrowing his political lackeys into civil service protected jobs so Trump can’t get rid of them. He’s already perperatrated a shameless land-grab of millions of acres under the flimsy guise that the land is a “national monument.” Final Days Obama has been a dream for the left. He’s doing everything he would have done all along...

In the final week of the Obama Administration, the outgoing Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS) extended the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somali nationals and others for an additional 18 months. The program was not scheduled to expire until March 2017. Somali nationals, and “eligible individuals without nationality who last habitually resided in Somalia,” now have an additional 18 months added to their “temporary” status that has been in place since 1991. The program was extended by President George W. Bush in 2001 and by President Obama in 2012. When a “temporary” status lasts 25 years, it’s not temporary at...

This list was sent to me. I thought the list and the timing were such I had to share with my fellow FReepers: 1. First President to be photographed smoking a joint. 2. First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner. 3. First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in. 4. First President to preside over a cut to the credit-rating of the United States. 5. First President to violate the War Powers Act. 6. First President to be held in contempt of...

Donald Trump hasn’t even been sworn-in yet but the liberal media has obsessed almost over every Trump tweet and controversy. Conversely, Barack Obama’s administration has been full of scandals and gaffes but liberal reporters have insisted that his record is clean as a whistle. Former NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw, after Obama’s January 10 farewell speech gushed: “He’s been scandal free, frankly, in the White House. We haven’t had that what for a while.†Time magazine’s Joe Klein, back in December declared there has been “absolutely no hint of scandal†during his eight years. And in 2013 reporters...

Monday on CNN International’s “Amanpour,” commenting on President-elect Donald Trump’s first UK interview with The Times of London, which covered several international issues, Secretary of State John Kerry said, “I thought frankly it was an inappropriate for a president-elect of the United States to be stepping into the politics of other country in a quite direct manner.” KERRY: He’ll have to speak to that as of Friday. You know he’s responsible for that relationship. AMANPOUR: You're talking about Angela Merkel's refugee policy which he did call catastrophic. KERRY: He did call it that and I think that she was extremely...

CHICAGO — He may be leaving the White House but he isn't totally going away. As President Obama gave his farewell address to the nation on Tuesday night, he also began the shift to a third stage of his political career. The once young, idealistic senator-turned-two-term-president will soon become an influential strategist and ally to those worried about the future with Donald Trump at the helm of the most powerful nation on the planet. Obama nodded to this new role in his speech Tuesday. He did not directly criticize his successor, but used lines like "I reject discrimination against Muslim-Americans"...

It’s like an alarm bell in the night for prophecy experts. Seventy nations are meeting in Paris this weekend for a massive summit to coordinate efforts against the Jewish state of Israel. According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, a statement issued after the conference will demand an end to the “occupation that began in 1967,” a two-state solution and no recognition of Israeli control of Jerusalem. It may even lead to recognition of a Palestinian state. “There’s no telling what this meeting might produce,” said Joseph Farah, founder of WND.com and author of the new prophecy book “The Restitution of...
