The University of California, Berkeley is likely to once again be the site of brutal protests on Thursday as questions arise about whether the city’s mayor has ties to an extremist group sparking violence. Ann Coulter has vowed to move ahead with a planned appearance at the university, despite Berkeley trying to reschedule her speech over security concerns. Law enforcement sources told Fox News that regardless of whether the conservative firebrand shows up, there is a “99 percent” chance that the college will erupt in violence.

The Daily Californian, the student newspaper at the University of California, Berkeley, has published a series of op-eds defending the use of violence to shut down a lecture on campus by Breitbart Tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos last week. The series is called “Violence as self-defense,” ostensibly on the premise that conservative speech is a physical threat. UC Berkeley, a public campus once celebrated as the birthplace of the Free Speech Movement of the 1960s, now apparently celebrates the use of violence to suppress free speech and violate the civil right rights of guest speakers and fellow students.

"Dilbert" comic creator Scott Adams announced on Friday that he would be "ending [his] support of UC Berkeley" following a protest that turned violent Wednesday. UC Berkeley students and other people appeared on campus to protest a talk given by Milo Yiannopoulos, an editor for the right-wing website Breitbart. Adams wrote he has "been a big supporter lately" by donating money and other help, but "that ends today." Recent “protests” against conservative speakers on college campuses have been marred by violence, yet excused and legitimized by mainstream media. Despite the chilling effect this is likely to have on the expression of conservative viewpoints on college campuses – and potentially elsewhere – the media as well as many politicians and public figures have either condoned the violence or publicly supported it.

Milo's event was cancelled, and he is off the property. They have toppled barricades, smashed windows, a big fire, and are cheering and burning American flags. They are setting off firecrackers and fireworks. A tree caught on fire. They are of course protesting Trump and chanting, "No KKK, No Fascist USA, No Trump!" They have signs that say "Resist!" and "This is War!" The police asked them to leave, but they are sticking around, and the crowd is growing. They are cheering because they stopped Milo.

 So lets' understand this: Milo is a gay immigrant from Britain, and these protesters are upset with him talking about halloween costumes while they ransack and destroy property, assault bystanders and simply act like the fascists that they are. Time for Trump to step in.  Enough is enough with this whole  lot. They want violence, perhaps it is time to respond with violence as their own acts against civilians must be met with force to deter this from happening again.
