Sundance at The Conservative Tree House has written posts commenting on Ted Cruz's proselytizing as an electoral campaign strategy. Freepers have seen at least a couple of examples of this strategy recently, with threads being posted about Cruz calling on supporters to "don the full armor of God" to resist "incoming attacks" (presumably from dark forces!), or that the "Body of Christ" must be energized to gain the victory. This type of rhetoric is also heavily prominent in his campaign fund raising. One of the more epic and cringe inducing examples comes from an apparent leak by the Cruz campaign...

Surging Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz is laying out what would be the most aggressive first day in office ever for a new president, starting with the elimination of "every single illegal and unconstitutional" executive action taken by President Obama. In an epilogue to his father Rafael Cruz's upcoming autobiography, the Texas senator also said that he would rip up Obama's controversial deal with Iran, open an investigation into Planned Parenthood's abortion practice, end the IRS's "persecution of religious liberty," and shift the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem."All of that is on day one. It is an example of...

In 2009, Glenn Beck was the king of the conservative movement, with record breaking audiences on his program on television on FOX, and a hit radio show. As it became clear that he was a bit of a “fringe†lunatic, and a fake crier, people began to turn off FOX. The CEO of FOX and the marketing team, in an attempt to distance themselves from Beck, ended their relationship. Now Beck is claiming he will not vote Trump, and his audience is shrinking rapidly.

Glenn Beck, who last week traveled through Europe and the Middle East, said on his eponymous radio show Monday morning that he believes Europe, “as we know it,†is “gone.†“You have to understand, Europe is gone,†the host said. “They are headed for catastrophe and headed for terrorist strike after terrorist strike after terrorist strike. Riots in the streets.†According to Beck, Europe is in serious trouble because “they refused to listen to the warnings.†And he believes that the U.S. is heading down the same path “if we don’t get control of our immigration and our refugee problem...

GLENN BECK (THE BLAZE FOUNDER): There is a very dangerous thing that I've been talking about for a very long time. First the Caliphate. The Caliphate happens then it destabilizes Europe and the rest of the western world. The economy is in very rough shape all around the world. The seeds of discontent throughout the western world have been sewn. No one is listening. What happens is you get a very strong progressive or a strong communist, fascistic sort of leader that comes to the fray and says I will solve your problems for you. And no one even stops...

Glenn Beck predicted Friday that he believes conservative voters will look to Republican presidential candidate Texas Sen. Ted Cruz “when it comes down to it,†because he has the “gravitas†to win the election. “I think it’s going to be Cruz when it comes down to it,†he said on The Glenn Beck Radio Program. “When you go in and you have to vote and you’re looking at today’s world, who do you think has the gravitas to really pull this off?†Beck went on to say he believes Cruz is “serious enough†to be president of the United States...

That's the gist of his comments. I don't know if he gave the sources. I can't remember. But apparently the terrorists names were withheld until CAIR could give a press conference. Beck also said that the translator for the Blind Sheikh was at the press conference.

Radio host Glenn Beck said Tuesday that Donald Trump acts like the radical community organizer Saul Alinsky. "He is Saul Alinsky," Beck insisted of the GOP presidential front-runner on his radio broadcast. "[Trump] will isolate you and polarize you and he will take you out," Beck said. "He will destroy you. "He is spending money with Tea Party groups and churches and news websites to own them," the conservative pundit added. Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" has inspired controversy over its principles on income inequality, politics and social justice. Beck argued that the Republican establishment threatens Trump's lead in the polls...

(Via MediaIte) […] Beck said that he had asked his audience to raise $10 million before Christmas to help take in Christian Syrian refugees. “Stop asking for permission!†he said. “Stop thinking we need permission… We will vet them ourselves. I have former CIA people that are going over and they’re vetting everybody right now. We can save more people by Christmas than Oscar Schindler saved, okay?†Beck said if the State Department refused them entry he’d find them a way in the country, even if he was thrown in jail. “I know some bridges over a river in Texas...

Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) is standing by his support for bringing Syrian refugees into the United States of America, even after the Paris murder-rampage by some of the many Muslims migrating into Europe. In September, Rubio told CNN that “we would be potentially open to the relocation of some of these [refugee] individuals at some point in time to the United States.†On Saturday, Breitbart asked Rubio’s campaign if he still stands by this statement. In response, Rubio’s spokesman Alex Conant referred Breitbart News to two other previous interviews Rubio has done on the matter—essentially confirming that Rubio still supports,...

Although he admits to being a fan of the 2016 Republican presidential candidate, The Blaze founder and radio host Glenn Beck worries that retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson will end up being the GOP’s “Jimmy Carter†in 2016. Beck told listeners of Tuesday’s show: “I really like Ben Carson, and I see why people are attracted to him. But is it possible that we’re making the same mistake that the Democrats made with Jimmy Carter?â€

Discussing the Black Lives Matter movement and racial reconciliation, Glenn Beck said Wednesday on his television show that the country needs to “atone†for its past. “I know a lot of people disagree with this — they’re still yelling about slavery — I’m sorry, dude, 600,000 people, most of them white, lost their lives,†Beck said. “The country was washed in blood and Abraham Lincoln was willing to lose it all … against slavery.†atoned for slavery then, but “picked it right back up†in reconstruction. “We just changed from slavery to something else, … but there was no atonement...

Anyone listening to Glenn Beck this morning? He can't stop fawning over Rubio and called Trump a leftist. Finally ended up predicting Trump's demise.

“Polarizing” is a descriptive term used by a pontificating media to disparage various elements they find antithetical to their own worldview. Generally, when the term is used it is wrongly assigned. However, in the case of Ted Cruz it’s unfortunately accurate. When Jason Johnson sits down to discuss his pathway to the nomination with George Will, it says more about Jason Johnson than it does about those who read Will’s opinion of the aforementioned pathway. What it essentially says is there’s a need to affirm something that isn’t factually supported by any measure of quantifiable empirical evidence. Ted Cruz Value...

Real-estate mogul Donald Trump is now going after conservative talk-show host Glenn Beck. In recent weeks, Beck has repeatedly been critical of Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner. Most recently, Beck was quoted in a New York Times article on Wednesday dismissing Trump as a "schoolyard bully" who is not in touch with tea-party conservatives. The Times article was titled: "Donald Trump’s Act Seems to Be Wearing Out Its Welcome." Trump, no stranger to Twitter insults, lashed out at Beck on Thursday. Trump also had harsh words for Erick Erickson, the conservative commentator who is the editor of the website RedState....

Conservative talk show host Glenn Beck has had it up to here with Donald Trump, even going as far as to accuse his supporters of latent racism. Beck, who hasn’t been shy in his opposition to the Republican frontrunner, said Tuesday that any Tea Partiers who jumped on the Trump bandwagon were probably not genuine in their beliefs. “The media’s making this look like Tea Party people,” Beck said, noting the press coverage of Trump’s enormous rally in Dallas. “I don’t think these are Tea Party people who are following him. Some of them may be, but if you were...

Glenn Beck on his Thursday program revealed the individuals he would like to see in a dream presidential cabinet. Recording his show in front of a live-studio audience, Beck said he would want Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) to serve as president with former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina in the slot of vice president. Beck suggested Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) serve as secretary of the treasury with former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum being selected for the job of secretary of state...
