Democratic Congressman Tom Suozzi found himself on hot-water over the weekend, telling a “nervous” crowd of supporters it may be time to “put pressure” on the President using “the Second Amendment” if he opposes the constitution. According to the NY Post, Suozzi was speaking at a town hall event in Long Island, New York when he suddenly commented on the Second Amendment; bizarrely suggesting it may be the only thing to prevent the Commander-in-Chief from “ignoring the courts.” “It’s really a matter of putting public pressure on the president,” Suozzi told the crowd. “This is where the Second Amendment comes...

Two students who survived last month’s high school shooting in Parkland, Fla., said Monday that the leadership of the National Rifle Association (NRA) has “basically threatened” them since they started speaking out about gun violence. “I think it just goes to prove exactly what they are. I don’t think NRA members are bad people at all. I think they’re responsible gun owners that want to become politically active and make their voices heard in this democracy,” David Hogg told CBS News.

Bears beware in Virginia. According to WHSV, Hunters in Virginia killed a record number of bears during the most recent hunting season. The Roanoke Times reports that state figures show 2,861 bears were killed, marking a 17 percent increase from the previous season. The increase in bear hunting was partly due to a first-ever three-day season in early October, which was held in 37 counties. There were 395 reported bears killed during that season, which made up 14% of the total for the year. Virginia sold 32,687 bear licenses, which was about 900 more than the year before, though...

I’m stunned by the image above. If the grammatically-challenged protester really wanted to know why someone owns an AR-15 — someone who has no plans to murder anyone — why doesn’t she ask an AR15 owner? Preferably before revealing her ignorance on the subject. Before calling for a ban on AR ownership. Hang on . . . The protest went down in New York, where AR-15s are banned. So she’d have to, I dunno, go online? https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=Gl5bj1T3vQE Clearly, the youth’s history teacher didn’t teach her thing one about the Second Amendment. ‘Cause if he knew that, he’d know the...

(Assemblymember Jim Cooper wants to toss more taxes on gun and ammo buyers in California to help pay for school safety programs.) A California lawmaker intends to gut and amend a bill on agriculture to apply an additional tax on firearms and ammunition to fund school programs. The measure, AB 2497, was introduced last month as a minor tweak to California’s Agriculture Day but moving forward will morph into a proposal that would provide counselors and armed officers to schools. The funding for the initiative would come from an as yet to be determined tax rate on gun and...

PJ Media previously reported on the story of a 17-year-old high school student from Farmington, Conn., who was originally blocked from participating in a school assembly on March 14 where she had planned to present her conservative and pro-Second Amendment views. Thanks to the attention her story received, the student, Ashley Dummit, was eventually able to participate, and gave a speech at the assembly in defense of Second Amendment rights. In fact, she ended up being the only speaker at the assembly. Unfortunately, not all incidents involving pro-Second Amendment students have ended so well. Another high school student, 17-year-old Christian...

The March for Our Lives school walkouts this week certainly garnered plenty of media attention. Of course, the students who favor strict gun control laws received far more media love than the ones who support the Second Amendment and hardening schools as potential targets, but that’s really just another day that ends in a “Y” for most of the media. One of the walkouts, however, missed out on the attention it might have merited. It took place at Harbor Elementary School in New London, Connecticut. If the phrase “elementary school” already caught your attention you’re on the right track. To...

A New York Democratic congressman is being accused of promoting violence against President Trump after suggesting during a town hall that citizens may have to take up arms against the president if he doesn’t follow the law. “I mean, this is where the Second Amendment comes in quite frankly, because you know, what if the president was to ignore the courts? What would you do? What would we do?” Rep. Tom Suozzi, D-N.Y., said during a March 12 Q&A session with constituents in Huntington, on Long Island.

Kroger subsidiary Fred Meyer announced they will no longer sell firearms and ammunition. The superstore has been selling guns and ammo at roughly 45 stores in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska. On March 1, Kroger reacted to the Parkland school shooting by announcing that Fred Meyer would no longer sell guns and ammo. Nine days later, on March 10, Kroger was sued by 20-year-old Airion Grace for refusing to sell him a box of shotgun shells.

As about 100 of the 1,700-plus students at my high school walked out in protest on March 14 (for a moment, I thought it was merely an overzealous Pi Day party), I mentioned to a colleague that the whole episode was little more than a ploy to elect more Democrats. I found out a short while later that others thought exactly the same. As most of us watching well knew, several reports have revealed that the student walkouts across the U.S. last Wednesday were far from "organic." Sadly, liberal organizations across the U.S. have seized on the wicked act that...

There are some talk among CCW about having a backup to their primary handguns. But how many actually have a backup to their primary handgun? I know most are not LEO’s, but packing more heat is always better than not having one at all. Trail Blazer Firearms from Ashville, NC sells a tiny single-shot .22 LR pistol that is the size no bigger than a stack of credit cards. When unfold the handle chamber can house 5 22 rounds. YouTuber Big Daddy Hoffman 1911 had a chance to try out the LifeCard Credit Card Pistol. It's small enough to fit...

A Democratic congressman from Long Island implied that Americans should grab weapons and oppose President Trump by force, if the commander-in-chief doesn’t follow the Constitution. Rep. Tom Suozzi made the remark to constituents at a town hall last week, saying that folks opposed to Trump might resort to the “Second Amendment.” “It’s really a matter of putting public pressure on the president,” Suozzi said in a newly released video of the March 12 talk in Huntington. “This is where the Second Amendment comes in quite frankly, because you know, what if the president was to ignore the courts? A New Jersey high school came under fire Friday after it allegedly suspended two students over a gun photo taken during a family visit to a shooting range. News of the unnamed students' suspension circulated through a Lacey Township Facebook group, according to NJ.com. Amanda Buron, a Lacey resident and family friend of one of the suspended students said one of the photos shared on SnapChat featured four rifles, ammunition clips and a gun duffel with the caption "fun day at the range," NJ.com reported. Buron said the two students received a five-day in-school suspension after the picture drew the...

Stoneman Douglas survivor Emma Gonzalez said on Sunday that she has no choice but to advocate for stricter gun control laws. "I have no choice because there were CNN cameras there, and my speech was broadcast all over the country in like four seconds and I had no ideas they were going to be there, and that's..like I'm not upset about that..I'm never going to be the same person again," Gonzalez told "60 Minutes" on CBS.

The incident occurred at Richland Northeast High School on Wednesday. Aisha Evans, a custodian at the school, went into a classroom while students were outside and rummaged through three book bags, the Richland County Sheriff's Department said. In all, Evans stole $180, the department said.

“**The move against Trump’s private business and his family is meant to push the President into direct conflict with Mr. Mueller which will result in Mueller’s attempted firing. That firing will be used as the primary get-out-the-vote push leading up to the 2018 Midterms in November. **Democrats take back the House and possibly even the Senate. Democrats and a handful of high-placed Republicans will then move forward with impeachment proceedings. They want to make it a bi-partisan effort to further damage the President. **The Trump brand will be destroyed. The value of his properties will plummet. His family will be...
