U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the Savannah Port of Entry inspected a container of manifested firearm magazines and discovered 591 cartons of pistol magazines bearing the Glock trademark. The importation of the magazines with the Glock trademark on the packaging was found to be unauthorized and in violation of the registered trademark, said Mark Varga, CBP spokesman.

Montana has "permitless" or Constitutional carry, for areas outside of city and town limits, which is more than 99% of the state.  Bills to extend Constitutional carry to the entire state have passed the legislature three times. The first time was in 2011. Democrat Governor Brian Schweitzer vetoed HB 271, and the legislature was not able to override the veto. The second time was in 2015. A federal appeals court has ruled that a Florida law restricting doctors from asking patients whether they own guns restricts the right to free speech. The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found that the law violated doctors’ First Amendment right to free speech, and concluded that the state failed to prove that physicians were infringing on patients’ Second Amendment rights. Legislators and advocates charged Friday that Gov. Dannel P. Malloy is specifically targeting gun owners for a fee increase that they said is not justified by an increased workload. Rep. Rob Sampson, a Wolcott Republican, said the proposal represents an unreasonable jump from the current $70 to $300 for a five-year permit renewal and $370 for an initial permit for first-time gun owners, up from the current $140. Alumide is a mixture of nylon and aluminum powder. It makes a pretty strong structure, the load was only 4 grams so its a light load. This was based on a "pen shank" created by Michael Yeh.
