How is the truck attack a cowardly act? I have absolutely no defense for the murderer and think he should be summarily tried and executed. However, really, how was his attack cowardly? He ran over people knowing what the consequences were going to be and jumped out with useless "guns" knowing he would be shot. How is that cowardly? Takes a lot of guts (no pun intended at all), if you ask me. When law enforcement should be saying we are going to kick asses and take names, all they can say is that this was a "cowardly act". A 27-year-old black man has been charged with a hate crime after assaulting a white, disabled, homeless passenger as revenge for slavery. WJLA reports Marquis Evans-Royster and the victim were riding the Washington D.C. Metrobus system at the time of the incident. Regarding the Las Vegas shooting, I would like to point out that in none of the videos which capture glimpses of the 32nd floor at Mandalay Bay during the shooting do I see ANY muzzle flashes whatsoever. I am by far no firearms expect. Not by a long shot (no pun intended). But I DO know that high-powered rifles including AR-15's, etc., would create a highly-noticeable muzzle flash or burst of 'flame' at night measuring at least a foot in diameter, at least. In the wake of the Aurora Theater shooting, I suggested that private sector establishments ought to be expected to be more concerned about the safety of their customers. In the case of the Aurora Theater, this was magnified by the fact that the theater was a "gun free zone" and did not allow patrons to carry their own firearms as self defense. Four American women traveling in southern France were attacked with acid Sunday at a train station in Marseilles, a police spokeswoman said. Two police officers have been injured while arresting a man armed with a knife outside Buckingham Palace.
