You need not use the left's absurdly low and usually ridiculous standards surrounding what is and isn't racism when it comes to Barack Obama to be taken aback by crybaby Bill Maher's blog post yesterday: Also because the idea that the blame for our government’s dysfunction is equally shared by the parties just is a giant, steaming mound of horseshit and anyone who has paid attention to politics over the last 20 years knows it. Or as I like to call it, “The Rise of the Party of the Apes.” Maher then went on to single out black Republican Congressman...

Army psychiatrist MAJ Nidal Hasan, who shot 45 people at an Army base in 2009, appeared in court wearing a beard and is refusing to shave it off. Beards are not allowed in the US military. We are going on four years this fall and this guy has not yet come to trial on charges of "workplace violence."

There’s just no other way to put it. These guys all suck. Sure, one of them will probably be able to squeak out a victory over Obama, but what is the point? I thought we’d be okay with multiple conservatives on stage in this debate to choose from, but I never thought I’d see them all capitulate the debate to Romney, the way it went last night. It’s like their all on stage, but they’ve already surrendered to Romney. This is pathetic. Something has got to change. I suggest a few things: 1 – Someone needs to get Romney’s campaign...

WATCH OUR NATIONAL JOKE Obama’s Toast to the Queen Triggers Awkward Orchestral Moment Posted on May 25, 2011 at 3:01am by Scott Baker ABC News: The president and the orchestra at Buckingham Palace this evening were a bit out of synch. When the president toasted the Queen the orchestra misunderstood a pause and what seemed to be a cue from the president for “God Save the Queen” to begin playing. “Ladies and gentlemen please stand with me and raise your glasses as I propose a toast,” the president said, putting down his note cards and grabbing his glass. “To...

The United States is running out of time to get its budget and trade deficits under control. Despite the urgency of the situation, 2010 has been wasted in hype about a non-existent recovery. As recently as August 2 Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner penned a New York Times column, “Welcome to the Recovery.” As John Williams (shadowstats.com) has made clear on many occasions, an appearance of recovery was created by over-counting employment and undercounting inflation. Warnings by Williams, Gerald Celente, and myself have gone unheeded, but our warnings recently had echoes from Boston University professor Laurence Kotlikoff and from David...

We have been scouring the interwebs for lists of the Republicans who voted for the big three bills that have had destructive consequences for the country. Several searches on Google have gotten us very little on the top searches, only on maybe the second or third page do we find lists. Even then they are somewhat hard to maneuver. So we wanted to compile these lists so you can know which RINOs voted for these atrocious bills. We will start rolling these out over the course of the week and keep them in the lists category for future ease of...

1. If you were a state governor who was eight months pregnant--and remember, Sarah Palin already knew hers was a high-risk pregnancy because of her age (44) and, according to her book, her baby having been diagnosed via amniocentesis as having Down syndrome--and you were scheduled to fly some 4,000 miles from home to give a speech at a conference, would you (a) give your speech from home via teleconferencing, using modern real-time technology, and explain to your hosts that the high-risk nature and advanced stage of your pregnancy made you reluctant to fly; or, alternatively, send the deputy governor to give your speech or (b) dismiss any staff or security slated to fly with you and insist on flying 4,000 miles to the conference yourself?

Prince Charles yesterday urged the world to follow Islamic 'spiritual principles' in order to save the environment. In a high-profile speech, the heir to the throne argued that man's destruction of the world was contrary to the scriptures of all religions - but particularly that of the Islamic faith. (snip) 'From what I know of the Qu’ran, again and again it describes the natural world as the handiwork of a unitary benevolent power,' he said. 'It very explicitly describes Nature as possessing an “intelligibility” and that there is no separation between Man and Nature, precisely because there is no separation...

When the issue of Obama's eligiblity was raised, during an radio interview with Peter Boyles, on 630 KHOW, in Denver, CO, Glenn Beck admitted, "I haven't looked into it at all". Just weeks ago he said that it is, "the dumbest thing I've ever heard", and he has repeatedly dumped on the patriotic citizens, that dare to raise the issue. So, he now admits, that he hasn't researched ... More in the video info box

WASHINGTON – Rep. John Murtha has been hospitalized in intensive care stemming from complications related to gallbladder surgery. Spokesman Matt Mazonkey says the 77-year-old Pennsylvania congressman underwent scheduled surgery last week and is currently at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington. Murtha was also hospitalized in December with gallbladder problems. The 19-term Democrat was the first Vietnam veteran to serve in Congress. He leads the powerful House Appropriations subcommittee on defense spending.

Paul Streitz has decided to call Sarah Palin by her real name, because she endorsed John McCain (who is trying to win a fifth term as Senator) and said she will campaign for him. Fanatic Palinites, such as the editors of the misnamed „conservatives4palin.com” website (they should rename it „liberals4palin.com”), lambasted him and called him a “backstabber”. “If Paul Streitz’s support of Governor Palin is contingent upon his agreeing with every decision she makes or her selling out her deeply-held values, that’s unfortunate. While all support is appreciated, the governor has never been for sale. Ask the Alaska establishment, who...

I’m talking about both sides. The ones from the right, product of our brilliant, subtle, commentator culture, who carry swastikas, or pictures, or wear costumes to town halls. And the ones on the left who compare those on the right to Nazis. I’m beginning to get the queasy feeling that those who paint themselves with Hitler mustaches, or paint mustaches on images of the president (yes I know about morons on the left and “Bushitler”), or dress up in uniforms or carry Hitler images on posters, get just a little too much of a thrill from it. It gives these...

Ronnie Chapman has hidden away his American flag for much of the past eight years. "I felt it was no longer a symbol of the country I love, but of Bush and support for his war," said the 48-year-old pharmacist from Cary. "The first thing I did the morning after the election was take it from my den and fly it proudly in front of my house."

WASHINGTON – Facts have taken a beating in Campaign '08. Each in his own way, John McCain and Barack Obama have produced enduring myths, amplified by their running mates and supporters. When a non-licensed plumber who owes back taxes and would get a tax cut under Obama is held out by McCain as a stand-in for average working Americans who should vote Republican, you know truth-telling is taking a back seat to myth-making.

This could be worse than mixing metaphors. If Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama is going to ad lib in a speech about the economy by invoking black 1970s breakthrough TV, he could at least get it right. In his Oct. 29 speech in Raleigh, N.C., Obama railed against Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain on various issues about the economy, specifically including tax cuts and the privatization of Social Security. He proposed that had Social Security been invested in the stock market – it might cause a Fred Sanford-style reaction. “If Sen. McCain is elected, we’ll have another president...
